Keith Jardine suspended for shoving official:
Not only did he suffer his fifth straight loss at Saturday night’s Shark Fights 13, Jardine was also indefinitely suspended by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for "sportsmanship."
"He's standing there ... he's being grabbed, he turns around in instinct and pushes the guy back, thinking its an over aggressive fan, but it happens to be (a Texas official).
"He's very apologetic to that. (But) the only part that the commission saw was Keith pushing the commission guy."

Not sure how Jardine can say he thought it was just some crazy fan.
Keith doesn’t shove the guy right away. After the ref grabs his shirt, Keith turns around, looks at him for a second or two, and I think some words are exchanged, and then Keith shoves him.
That’s exactly what I saw. The guy put his hands on Jardine’s shirt and Keith smacked his hand away. Then he glared at him for a second or two before pushing him. Clear as day.

I think it’s a bit much. You could tell Keith cooled right down once he realized the guy was a commision member. They have to know that he’s keyed up, getting ready to fight and someone he doesn’t know starts grabbing at him, he’s not going to react well. It was a misunderstanding.
If they are going to suspend someone, maybe they should suspend Houston Alexander for headbutting Sokoudjou twice then grabbing his hair?

Even if he didn’t, which is so unbelievable, surely he would have noticed in the late rounds when they hardened into cement. The fact that this guys is fighting anywhere, let alone Pacquiao, is such a joke.
For all the chirping Pacquiao’s fans do about Mayweather being afraid to fight him (rightfully so), their boy shouldn’t be taking this fight before giving Marquez another shot.

Hm. When I read the description, it sounded like the commission was way out of line. Watching the video, though, Jardine definitely didn’t need to shove him there.
That said, I don’t think it’s suspension-worthy either.

The quote about pushing the guy out of instinct is obviously BS, but maybe he did think it was a fan…I don’t know, Jardine has always seemed like a chill guy, but he looked the dude right in the face before he shoved him.

I shoved the last random guy who did that to me too. He should have introduced himself before just feeling up on him. That’s just weird
Watch closely. That commission member tried to "tweak" his nipple
