Roger Bowling vs. Bobby Voelker 2 Set To Headline Strikefore Challengers 11
Via press release:
Five months after their initial encounter, an exciting battle that ended prematurely due to an accidental poke in the eye, Roger "Relentless" Bowling (8-0) will put his unbeaten record on the line one more time against Bobby "Vicious" Voelker (22-8) in a collision of welterweights (170 pounds) in the main event of a STRIKEFORCE Challengers Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fight card presented by Rockstar Energy Drink at Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif., live on SHOWTIME at 11 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast), on Friday, Oct. 22.
Undefeated prospect and Fresno resident Billy Evangelista (10-0) will make his long-awaited return to the cage when he faces Waachiim "Native Warrior’’ Spiritwolf (8-6-1) in a 165-pound catch weight bout. Heavyweight star and Madera, Calif. native Lavar "Big" Johnson will continue his miraculous return to the sport in a matchup against an opponent to be determined.

cool, i’ll watch the rematch.
but, uhh… “waachilm spiritwolf” ??? this is the shit that makes you question WTF is wrong with strikeforce, that they can’t even get a guy that anyone has heard of to take on one of their top prospects.

it really makes you wonder
why he thinks he needs a nickname, to say nothing of one as bland as ‘native warrior’

I don’t see what’s wrong with Spiritwolf fighting here, he’s performed in King Of The Cage, and had a great performance on the same event that had Lashley vs. Sapp (I forget the promoter) last year. I don’t doubt Evangelista should take this, but Spiritwolf isn’t going to be a complete walkover.

Plus...
Evangelista has been out all year with an injury… good way to bring him back slowly.

Bowling beat the hell out of him in the 1st match
I don’t expect to see anything different this time. Nothing but power shots from Bowling and a few counters by Voelker.

@deowade
It was a good fight
Voelker can take a shot, or two, or three.
I seen the last one in person, I was ashamed to be in the crowd. Everyone was booing like crazy, cause he tore his retina in the third round and couldn’t continue. That and they crowd was calling him ‘Bieber’. I hate MMA ‘fans’. :(
