Dream's last card of the year takes a major hit as Joe Warren lets Sherdog Radio know that he will not fight Michihiro Omigawa at Dream 16 on September 23.

From Sherdog.com:

"It just didn’t work out very well. We didn’t come to an agreement, and it didn’t look like it was the best opportunity for me at that time. I thought it was, but it just isn’t going to go down."

 

MMA fans lose on two fronts.

Dream struggles to survive and put on relevant shows in a fading market. With Dream 17 already postponed until the new year, losing one of Dream 16's marquee match ups is less than ideal.

This was one of the hottest match ups in the featherweight division featuring several intriguing points. Wrestling vs Judo. America vs Japan. With both fighters coming off win streaks and top ten rankings, its a shame this couldn't happen.
