UFC welterweight Ricardo Almeida walked away unscathed from an ugly car crash in New Jersey on Thursday. "Cachorrão" was driving alone on his way to the airport when he rear-ended a FedEx delivery truck on the New Jersey Turnpike, totaling his Land Cruiser (shown above in a picture from Almeida's Twitter account).

"Thank you for the well wishes," Almeida wrote on Twitter yesterday shortly after the accident. "Amazingly not a single scratch. Felt like something just push me out of harm's way."

Everyone he posted before the Hughes fight, was basically him just driving around.. If that is on video, I want to see it.

I’m not religious but it’s statements like “Felt like something just push me out of harm’s way” kinda bug me. Like…what if there was a force that adjust his body 6 inches to the left to just barely avoid a fatal injury? Or those close call accidents where they barely get away from death? Or that picture after an accident where someone gets out unscathed and someone takes a picture and there’s a white figure nearby?

Or am I thinking too deep into it? IDk I’ve always been curious about that kinda stuff.
