Great matchup. Can’t wait. Glad they’re not keeping Vitor on the shelf any longer.

Wiki says Belfort by 2".
I want Kim Winslow or Tan Dan to ref Tito Ortiz' next loss.

Interesting
If Okami can keep Belfort at a distance with his jab, he could stop the Bull Rush attack from happening.

Belfort will stay back and wait. He just relaxes and counters now, and he doesn’t rush in until he knows he clipped the guy enough to stun him. It should be an excellent gameplan against a guy who wants you to open up so he can shoot in.
Which is why this is such a great match-up
Love this one.

Great fight
This is a true #1 contender fight for sure.
Belfort has never fought the champ and destroyed Franklin. Okami has had his ups and downs but is a great fighter and his loss to Chael Sonnen (on the undercard) seems much more understandable in retrospect than it did at the time.
With Maia, Marquardt and Paul Harris all waiting in the wings, 185 looks a little more interesting in the future. (I guess you could add belcher, akiyama and bisping to that list).
Are there any good prospects coming up at 185 like there are at 170?
This is a bad fight for Vitor..
If Okami does the smart thing and outwrestle him, this is his fight to lose. When made to wrestle, Belfort is only really dangerous in the first round. Okami by smart lay n pray.
We are One.
It’s funny how a fight or two can change the perception of a fighter. Okami stood with Linhares and battered him, and against Munoz, Okami stood more with him, and the fight didn’t reach the ground very much. This fight could be a striking battle, but if Okami wants to, he can take this to the floor. Good to see that Okami is getting some spotlight seeing he co-main evented his last fight and is now main eventing this one.
