FightMetric has reports up from the big three fights at UFC 117: Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen, Jon Fitch vs. Thiago Alves, and Junior dos Santos vs. Roy Nelson.
Interesting notes:
-Sonnen landed 320 strikes, Silva 64.
-Sonnen was successful on 3 of 7 takedown attempts. (This seems off to me.)
-Assuming Sonnen had ridden out round five for the sweep, it looks like FightMetric would have scored 50-44, with a 10-8 Sonnen round in the first.
-Fitch outlanded Alves 70-39.
-Fitch was successful on 9 of 12 takedown attempts.
-Dos Santos landed 138 strikes, including a knockdown in round one. Nelson landed 40 strikes.
-Nelson was unsuccessful in 7 takedown attempts.
