Austin Fox News 7 does a report on the Huerta fight. Some interesting stuff:
- The man who hit the woman did visit an area hospital; his condition is unknown;
- They also report that Huerta is the man seen stomping his foe;
- The piece is generally pretty favorable to Huerta, including a full screen shot of the SI cover story.

is it clear or unclear whether roger huerta stomped the guy? i take it from another cagepotato that the guy in the picture delivering the stomp isn’t roger (he’s even wearing a tshirt).

i don’t think it is Roger who foot stomps him. There is no way that during a fight he would put his shirt back on and then run over to stomp on the dude. It’s hard to make out anything in the video. There isn’t even proof that Roger knocked him out because you can’t see it. What is clear is the big black dude did knock out that chick and that aint right! I’m glad Roger did what he did.

yeah i just watched the video like 6 more times. I think you are right. He may have his shirt off. It’s not a very clear video so I don’t know how you can prove anything but I’m sure with the technology that the police department has they could zoom in and see who it was. I’m sure it was Roger and he should get away with it for doing what was right.

Yep…that is the main thing. He did what was right. Nothing short of what a majority of us wouldn’t do.
I ran security for 4 years in AK and even WITH the cops there during the fights AND with worse results at time with guys fighting that didn’t deserve it like this guy…most of the times it is just broken up and no arrests are made, so I seriously doubt they will do anything here.
For the most part, the guy will need to press charges as the cops wont seek Roger out on their own, but I;m sure the cops as well will inform the guy that the female can and would press charges as well, so I doubt any one thing will happen.
And as far as the “cops or prosecutors not wanting to waste vauable resources on it”…that’s BS. I’ve seen them waste TONS of resources on much smaller infractions.
(matter of fact, 3 patol units arrested me the night before my fight**after cutting 18lbs in 24 hours** for a ticket I had that was worth a 35.00 fine for not having my lic. on me when I got pulled over. I had a valid lic., it just wasn’t on me. K-9 Unit, officer with gun drawn on the side of my house and all. A little bit of an overkill. Actually. A LOT of an overkill)

In regards to him getting in trouble. True cops and prosecutor’s are different everywhere, but I was just citing and example of many altercations I have seen where cops were present and no arrests were made, much less prosecutor’s folowed up to press charges on those individuals.(having Cops as witnesses, not just a grainy tape)
Like I said…the prosecutors sent out the call for my arrest, not the cops.
It was just in reply to people wondering if he would get in trouble…that I seriously doubt. Which is good

did you notice that as Roger and big black are about to square off there is a guy that comes running into the TOP of the picture (not the guy yelling Roger, Roger) and big black throws a punch at him and then starts running. I really wish we had some footage of what happen during that run cause that’s when it had to have gone down.

It was a head stomp – he stomped the guy’s head.
It was not a foot stomp. A foot stomp is stomping someone’s foot.
And it was definitely not a curb kick/stomp. A curb kick/stomp is when you place a persons teeth on a curb and kick/stomp down on the back of the head to break all the teeth.
Too many people are calling what Roger (allegedly) did a curb stomp, and it’s too misinforming to people who haven’t seen the video. We gotta get the lingo right.
