Koscheck's best hope for victory
Is to land that right hand against GSP.
Otherwise he’ll be in for a looooooong night.

Koscheck is gonna need every advantage he can get. Better start practicing going down from those ‘eye pokes’.

Smart
Guaranteed sell-out, a bump in the already big Canadian PPV numbers because of the hometown angle, Koscheck gets a big fat plate of targets with which to rile up the Montreal crowd, and another example to the rest of Canada of what kind of excitement (and $$) MMA can bring to the North…
Kos is gonna win this fight.
I think hes gonna suprise allot of GSP Nuthuggers!
Jon Jones Cannot be Stopped! and neither can Anderson SIlva! Rampage will Reign Supreme again! Brock is a MONSTER and Kos Will win in December! Forrest Griffen is SOOOOO Overrated! BJ will Be Re-throned aswell!
GSP was gonna crush Kos before this fight, now with the hometown on his side, Kos will be lucky to escape the first round
Seriously?
He had Hardy in multiple submissions that would have tapped out anybody else. He also injured his groin when he was fighting Alves.
HIT HIM WITH YOUR GROIN
And then God created Saturn... and he liked it, so he put a ring on it.

ummm not quite
No. They were not performed right or Hardy’s limbs would have snapped. Jiu jitsu was not designed to tap people out. It was designed to choke and break bones/joints. I am a big gsp fan. But Hardy didn’t defend those correct and gsp didn’t finish properly.anyone who says otherwise didn’t know what they were looking at.

Unless of course Hardy is a tough son-of-a-bitch and didnt tap to a submission that would of had many other fighters tapping.

fighters dont need to tap
when you snap an arm or shoulder and its just dangling there the ref will call it.
or how bout the day Mir got his black belt
you can be too tough to tap…. but chances are you aren’t too tough for a cast ;-)

Hardy was ready to tap from the shoulder lock
He had his hand up ready for it and didn’t because gsp was in position to finish.

Koscheck is unreal over at AKA
I don’t know if he takes it, but its gonna be one hell of a fight, win lose or draw!
I'm so conflicted with this guy.
As a fighter, I spent some time training with/around him and he’s a really cool dude. But when I become an MMA fan and I watch his antics I haaaaate him.
And then God created Saturn... and he liked it, so he put a ring on it.

Training is bragging at this point?
News to me… but if we’re dropping the names, I’d be more inclined to cite my contacts as a writer and reporter as opposed to my training partners.

Pshh, overrated
Home Town Edge in Combat Sports matters when you go to the scorecards and it’s potentially close.
When GSP goes to the scorecards, he’s dominant. I don’t think it’s a problem.
They’ve done it once.

That fight was in Las Vegas. The only time GSP has fought in Montreal was the rematch with Serra.

i actually replied to the wrong guy.
that was meant for the " gsp only wins in dominant fashion". My bad

Kos/GSP 1
was not the super bad beat down many of you remember. GSP clearly won but it wasn’t anything like the GSP/Hardy 1sidedness.
Don’t get me wrong I know GSP is the best 170 lb fighter, but call me crazy but I think this will be as close to evenly matched as GSP has been in quite some time.
Wouldn't be surprising
it’s happened to BJ and Anderson. Nobody gave Edgar or Chael a chance to win the fight and look what happened, Edgar won twice and Chael was winning dominantly until the last minute of the fight.
Kos is the biggest threat to GSP in the UFC’s WW class, but its still highly unlikely that he takes this one, even if the claims he didn’t train wrestling for the first fight are true…

My prediction
GSP dominates Koscheck as only GSP can dominate guys (well at 170 anyway), and somewhere around round 3 or 4 the crowd starts chanting “Anderson, Anderson”.
That would rule.
