They did an alright job with the roster

I know they said they had problems with contracts from guys like Sauraba and Sudo, but there are some farely glaring omissions that I am not sure they would have had trouble with like KJ Noons and Antonion Silva

Sadly, I wasn’t. I don’t really keep up with BJJ outside of MMA, and didn’t feel like I had heard this Kron name before. You’ll have to excuse my ignorance this one time. At least I know now, right? Ah, okay. Guess I could have looked that up myself.. it does seem like a weird choice to have him in the game when he’s never done any MMA though, maybe they just felt they needed a Gracie in the game and picked one on random or something.

Roger and Rickson are in the game

There are just screenshots of Rickson as a trainer, but all other trainers are playable (Rutten, Militich, Couture) so he may be playable too.

Yeah, cool. I actually thought about Roger before I wrote that, so I went and checked the LHW roster but didn’t find him. Checked again now and sure enough he was on there, had just missed him.. didn’t know about Rickson though, sounds good

They look pretty awful. Jay Herion looks like something from Avatar and Matt Lindland looks like a slightly less pale Nick Thompson minus the ginger beard.

OK, I’m bored, so I just looked it up. Apparently Lindland wrestled near 170 in the late 90s, around the same time he started his MMA career. I don’t know if he fought at that weight, but he was definitely fighting at a time when he could have made that weight.

You forgot to list

Tyron Woodley…

they accidentally left him out of the image. they’ve since fixed that. also if you look at WW they have 2 Shinya Aoki’s layered on top of each other. Aoki looks the worst out of everyone. At least "Mach" is in the game.

Is Heiron the only unique welterweight? It seems like most of the WW’s are also LW’s or MW’s…no real surprise though. Incredibly weak roster in this game.
