Mike Kyle says "I want Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante" in an interview with mmaweekly.com:
"I want it known that I want Feijao, and if he’s a real champion, he’ll want to avenge his loss (to me)."
"Feijao worked a lot on his cardio, I think, but I wasn’t super impressed. At the end of the second round he was really down, and whatever his corner said to him to get his head back on straight, he came back out and finished the fight, but he showed a big weakness in his game. I saw him quit in the same way he quit against me."
"No disrespect to him or his camp, but he has my belt, and I’m better than him in every category and that I can beat him in every category. If you put me in the cage with him again, it’s going to be the same fight as last time."

Let him beat up Gergard first.
Sobral/Hendo, if it happens should be first.

Seems like Feijaos win made SF’s LHW very intersting all of a sudden. So many scraps I wanna see now. That belt will be changing hands often.

Mike Kyle is still the same old scumbag he has always been. He is on his best behavior right now, but it only a matter of time before his true colors shine through once again. Mark my words. He’s one frustrating round away from doing something incredibly destructive and stupid … again.
If Strikeforce is dumb enough to give him a title shot, then I hope he wins it and they have to try and promote the most despicable fighter in the sport as their champion.

Mike Kyle is the only fighter you will ever see me bash. If that gets me banned, so be it.
I just think it is disgraceful that California has licensed him and that Strikeforce is using him at all, much less considering him for a title shot. The guy has no business fighting professionally, as his past conduct indicates he is incapable of meeting the standards of conduct for a professional fighter inside the cage.
Kyle
I saw that he thanked God first after his last win. Had he ever done that before? Perhaps he is a new man? I’m certainly willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

This is about the fourth or fifth time in his career he has been ‘a new man’. Every time he he makes the claim, a few rubes buy into it and forgive his past transgressions. Then, sure as the sun rising in the morning, he eventually gets frustrated in a fight and his true colors shine through. Last time it happened, he nearly ended a guy’s career.
I’m all for second chances. Fool me once shame on you and all that good stuff. But Kyle is on his fourth or fifth chance. He’s not fooling me again. He will violate the rules again and he will show a blatant disregard for the health and well-being of his opponent again. The guy has serious impulse control issues and just can’t stop himself when the going gets tough.
All it going to take is one frustrating round and the whole cycle will repeat itself. He’ll disappear from the public eye for a year or so and then reemerge as a ‘changed man’ and gullible people will buy into it. I’ve seen enough from Kyle to know that this particular leopard is never going to change his spots. He is a danger to other fighters and has no business competing in the professional ranks.
I am guessing your 4192 is for Pete Rose. Do you think he deserves another chance from the MLB? Are you mad that they allowed him to come back and participate in a ceremony at GABP?
Nope.
Rose was my childhood idol and the pro athlete who I most admired for how he competed , but that admiration stopped the moment he stepped off the field. Pete was a sleazebag IRL and deserved everything that MLB threw at him. I still admire the athlete, but not the man.
That said, there is a big difference between a guy who got banned for jeopardizing the integrity of a game and a guy who SHOULD be banned for jeopardizing the health and welfare of other human beings.
If you look deep enough you can find the sleazebag in any profesional athlete.
Wow. I guess your not a forgive and forget kind of guy. I have to say I disagree with you. You must be a cop or a real staunch republican.
I don't know anything about Kyle
What’s the story here?
"I am a man who pisses largely and frequently, which they say is a sign of great mental activity" -Henry Miller-
That is only his most recent transgression.
He also has a long history of fouling opponents as soon as they start to get the better of him (biting Wes Sims to escape a triangle, kneeing Eilers in the balls, landing fight ending nut shots on TK & Soszynski, and a couple of others I can’t remember off the top of my head).
- He’s been accused of biting Wes Sims during a match.
- Repeatedly kneed Justin Eilers in the balls in their match.
- Excessive use of eye pokes in his match ups against Kosaka and Soszynski
- Kicked Brian Olsen in the face during a fight for the WEC HW title and then had to be physically restrained by the refs as he continued to attack. This finally resulted in a suspension.
- Then he proceeded to try and ignore his suspension by scheduling a fight like the very next month or two.
All of that (might be missing some stuff of the top of my head) as well as just having been a generally unpleasant person outside of the cage from the accounts I’ve read.
Saying all of that, he is a decent enough fighter that I enjoy watching him fight. Should he or shouldn’t he be allowed to fight at this point after all of his ‘antics’ is the question though. To which I’d have to answer a no regardless of his being a decent fighter.
I begrudgingly added him to my power punchers list.
Mike Kyle is no sportsman and no role model. But that boy can hit people really fucking hard.
