Me Talking UFC 118, James Toney's Chances and BJ Penn on Sporting News Radio
I've been on Colin Cowherd's show on ESPN, which is a nice feather in my career cap. Being on Sporting News Radio is right up there alongside that. It's a gigantic network in radio markets all over the U.S.
I joined Larry Brown on the Pregame Show. Listen to the whole segment here.
Two quick points:
1. The best laid plans of mice and men. Toney's chances are slim, but MMA is unforgiving on those who try to engineer outcomes. Don't lose sight of that heading into this bout.
2. A decent high school wrestler could take down Toney at will. Think about that. I've trained takedown drills with a guy who was my age, a little bigger and was the Maryland state wrestling champ for the up to 275lbs category. Trying to stop his takedowns was incredibly hard. Even when I was successful his re-shot was too overwhelming. How is Toney going to stop that guy, much less Couture?

Luke, great interview but Toney tested postive against Danny Batchelder and not Hasim Rahman.
