Andre Winner/Joe Lauzon/Marcus Davis parlay

I think I’m gonna be rich.

Toronto FC - Where road games are forfeited and we STILL have no idea how to play from behind.

Salter will lose you money.

I don't value my fake money...

:S

I still think Salter has a decent chance though…

Ever since

he celebrated “winning” when Jason Macdonald broke his leg i’ve wanted to see him knocked out.

by av1o3 on Aug 26, 2010 5:05 PM EDT up reply actions

Nah it'll be Winner but I have chickened out of some picks in my parlay

I’m very confident in Lauzon winning and I think Davis is really being underrated here.

I would pick Winner straight up

but it should be a close fight and with those odds I have to pick Lentz

by truck on Aug 26, 2010 1:55 PM EDT up reply actions

Wow, according to that chart Toney is given a 2% better chance to win than Edgar. That is interesting…

by Jason_73 on Aug 26, 2010 1:34 PM EDT reply actions

Miranda upset, anyone?

by Keren on Aug 26, 2010 1:42 PM EDT reply actions

i can see that, most def. but i’m more surprised w/the Diaz/Davis lopsidedness. i smell knockout possibilities

by BeeTrain on Aug 26, 2010 1:51 PM EDT up reply actions

I’d love to see Davis win this. Seeing him lose to Saunders like that was awful. Thankfully he beat Goulet, but I think he needs another win….plus I just really dislike the Diaz brothers.

Penn/Maynard/Diaz

by sday420 on Aug 26, 2010 1:48 PM EDT reply actions

I just picture Diaz thinking he can stand and trade with Davis and getting KO’d

You are all UFC plants.

by beery_pbr on Aug 26, 2010 1:52 PM EDT reply actions

Well, there is always a 1st time

But I don’t see Davis being the guy to pull it off somehow. Diaz is just a monster now, I never thought that going up in weight could make someone better, but in this case it did because he was walking around 190 and taking off 20lbs in 2 days trying to make 155, and his strength was gone.

by SimplePsych on Aug 26, 2010 2:17 PM EDT up reply actions

I love to watch the Diaz brothters fight ,but...

they seem to have problems with two types of fighters: overpowering wrestlers that can put them on the ground and keep them there and legitimate boxers. I think the reasoning is the ‘Diaz mentality’.
Both brothers are stubborn, hard headed cardio machines, that truly believe that they can beat you at your own game. Wanna lay on top of me, that’s fine, i’ll submit you from my back. Wanna stand and bang, I will jab with you all day.
Once again, great viewing, but you won’t see many champions who fight that way.

You are all UFC plants.

Jesus Christ

More people picked Toney than Edgar? You people are ridiculous.

"You hear people say, 'You're the greatest,' and all this stuff. It's BS. It's fake, it's all fake. You've just got to keep training as hard as you can. The only thing real is the fight, everything else is fake." - BJ Penn

by crazybones on Aug 26, 2010 1:56 PM EDT reply actions   1 recs

Precisely what I was thinking.

How a higher percentage of people chose Toney winning over Couture than Edgar winning over Penn is …well actually its fairly revealing of how mma fans think.

by Cocytus on Aug 26, 2010 5:43 PM EDT up reply actions

Holy Mother of God

You think how people make picks on a free web game like MMAPlayground actually says something meaningful?

Pretty revealing of how some people here think.

People are that sold on Toney's power?

Toronto FC - Where road games are forfeited and we STILL have no idea how to play from behind.

by SSreporters on Aug 26, 2010 1:59 PM EDT reply actions

he has power? he aint Ray Mercer

by BeeTrain on Aug 26, 2010 2:04 PM EDT up reply actions

He HAD power

Back when he was at 168.

I don’t understand why anyone would pick Toney unless they want to win a lot of money.

by SSreporters on Aug 26, 2010 2:19 PM EDT up reply actions

Randy’s like 47 or something. Even Coleman tagged him a couple times. So I guess it’s understandable… sort of.

Some of the people who have knocked him down (and/or out)

Pack some power (Liddell, Lesnar, Big Nog).

Im all over Davis, I dont understand that

And Im really suprised that No one is picking Edgar, since he won the first fight… But I got BJ too

by majuca8 on Aug 26, 2010 1:59 PM EDT reply actions

BJ is easy money, especially at those odds. i was thinking he’d be -400 at minimum for this fight. i’m thinking 2nd round KO or sub

by BeeTrain on Aug 26, 2010 2:07 PM EDT up reply actions

No they don't

But they apparently don’t think highly enough of Edgar.

Maynard/Davis/Toney

Descision,KO,KO.
I dunno why but I cant seem to place these parlay bets without going for some serious underdogs. Sure will payoff nice though if my picks are right.

by beerdo on Aug 26, 2010 3:52 PM EDT reply actions

Put it all on toney.

Edgar already lost once to Penn

…yes, I’m still bitter about losing that parlay…

by Django Z on Aug 27, 2010 10:48 AM EDT up reply actions

Mario Miranda & Nick Lentz $100 parlay.. will pay $2453 :)

by Horselover Fat on Aug 26, 2010 5:45 PM EDT reply actions

Actually it’d pay nothing because Miranda’s gettin subbed. : )

by Tim Burke on Aug 26, 2010 6:40 PM EDT up reply actions

Yeah, I think Maia is winning too. But the odds for Miranda are too good.. could very well end up being decided on the feet, with Maia being outpointed

Im a mmaplayground n00b

and im having trouble with my fantasy picks. mmaplayground is telling me i didn’t pick anything for any event. but i did. even changed them a couple times in the last couple days. my wagers are still showing up as i set them but my fantasy picks have pretty much disapeared. Do i have to do something to submit my picks? it seems to have locked in my wagers already. I know im a dumbass but could i get some feedback on this?
