So Now Fedor's Next Fight Is In Japan Or Russia Likely On New Year's Eve

The other day Coker discussed Fedor fighting Bigfoot next. I was very skeptical that this would be his next fight. Now, Finkelstein is saying that Fedor's next fight will likely take place in Japan, or maybe even Russia. In fact, he claims he has a very lucrative offer to fight on New Year's Eve in Japan.

So, every time we hear Coker tell us who Fedor is fighting next we should pretty much ignore it. It's obvious that the only fight M-1 and Fedor will entertain next in SF is with Werdum. But, how much of a dagger would it be if Dream was able to secure the Overeem/Fedor match before SF.

I think Coker is a good guy but I don't think he has a strong hand at the helm of Strikeforce. No wonder he recently stated that he is carving out a role for, get ready if you haven't heard this yet, Paul Heyman of ECW fame. This might be blurring the line a little too much. But, Heyman understands how to put on a show and build his talent. Coker does not. UFC saw the value of having Dana be the face of the organization. Coker does not have that kind of charisma. If Heyman were to step into that role it could be interesting. Not sure if it will work but it will be interesting.

Regardless, the next time we see Fedor it seems will not be in a Strikeforce cage. Who do you want to see Fedor face if it were to take place for Dream on New Year's Eve?
