Strikeforce: Houston Results: Daniel Cormier Easily Stops Jason Riley
The two-time Olympian and former team captain made it look easy.
Despite having fought three times in three weeks, Cormier had no trouble dispatching with the unheralded Riley. While Riley was able to stop an early takedown attempt from Cormier - one that wasn't set up with strikes - that's all Riley would be able to do. A huge overhand right no more than 30 seconds later sent Riley crashing to the mat. The nimble Cormier pounced on his opponent on hammered him with huge, winging punches until the referee stepped in.
Jason Riley taps to strikes at 1:02 of the very first round.

Seems like a decent step up
His pressure seems like a good threat for Arlovski, even this early in his career.
