Andre Galvao vs. Jorge Patino - Round 1 - Galvao misses a head kick, Patino flurries back with a combo that misses. Galvao shoots in and Patino defends well early. Galvao pulls the legs out and has Patino sitting against the cage. Patino looks to get butterfly guard and takes some big punches from Galvao. Show to the body by Galvao and he passes to side control. Knees to the body and butt by Andre and he takes the back. Patino attempts to stand and Galvao gets a hook in and Patino is able to slip out to standing. Leg kick by Patino countered with a right hand. Left hook by Galvao hits right behind the ear. Patino with a big right hand that hurts Galvao and now Patino follows him to the ground with a flurry of strikes.  Drops him again as he attempts to stand up. Patino makes him stand up and lands a big left and a flurry of punches. Galvao is tired and hurt, he dives for a takedown and Patino is on top in half guard.  The round ends and Patino really took it over at the end. 10-9 Patino.

Round 2 -Galvao looks a bit tired still and it's hard to tell from the webstream but I think his eye is bothering him. Flurry from Patino misses. Galvao looking for a single leg and he's now going for a double, really driving in. Galvao gets the takedown and throws some punches but well defended by Patino. Into half guard now. Galvao looking to pass to mount and Patino gets butterfly guard. More punches blocked by Patino. Patino looking to stand up and gives up his back. Galvao throwing punches to the head. Patino moves and Galvao slips off and they're standing again. Galvao shoots and manages to get the takedown. Galvao landing some shots to the body and now a few punches to the head as the round ends. 10-9 Galvao.

Round 3 -Uppercut from Patino misses. Same three strike combo misses for Patino and Galvao gets the takedown. Galvao moving for an arm triangle but he can't lock it in.  Patino attempts to stand and ends up giving up his back. Punches to the head from Galvao. Patino took the fight on a week notice and it's showing as he looks exhausted. A few more punches land and the referee stops the fight. Really questionable stoppage. Patino wasn't going to win but there was no reason for a stoppage there. Andre Galvao wins by TKO (strikes), round 3.

Daniel Cormier vs. Jason Riley - Round 1 - Cormier shoots and Riley avoids early, using his height well. Cormier keeps pushing forward. Right hand by Cormier and Riley goes down and covers up. Cormier follows him down and pounds him out quickly. Looks like Riley tapped out. Daniel Cormier wins by submission (strikes), round 1.

The Showtime broadcast is live. First fight of main card up shortly.

Bobby Lashley vs. Chad Griggs - Round 1 - Lashley with a quick takedown and quickly passes to side control. Griggs can't kick off the cage to escape. Lashley landing some punches and looking for a crucifix. Griggs looking to stay composed but he's taking a bit of a beating so far. Lashley still looking for the crucifix. Griggs is just trying to stall and find a way out, now turning so he's in north-south. Lashley back to side control. Griggs escapes to his feet and Lashley with another takedown and is in Griggs' half guard. Again they're in north south and again Griggs escapes to standing and knees Lashley in the chest. Lashley hitting the body in the clinch. Griggs with an uppercut and Lashley with another takedown. Lashley is cut BADLY! Griggs is hitting him a lot from his back and the round ends. 10-9 Lashley but he's not reacting well to the cut.

Round 2 - Lashley with a big double leg again right away. He's still bleeding and Griggs is targeting the cut with his punches from the bottom. Pass to side control for Bobby again. Lashley keeps throwing big punches from side control but not with a lot of aim. Lashley to mount and he's throwing punches butn not landing. One punch lands and Griggs tries to use the cage to escape. Lashley is gassing and he's not taking advantage of mount here.  The ref stops them to check the cut. Oh, he restarts them standing. Lashley with an awful shoot and he's exhausted. Griggs is drilling him and Lashley can't even stand up as the round ends. The ref waives it off as Lashley quits!  Chad Griggs wins by TKO (retirement), round 2.

KJ Noons vs. Jorge Gurgel - Round 1 - Right hand by Gurgel lands right away. Body kick from Gurgel. Head kick just misses for Jorge. Leg kick from Noons. Noons looking to use the jab. Leg kick from Gurgel. Body shot from Noons. Great body shot by Noons. Gurgel misses a high kick. Nice jab, body shot, left hook combo from Noons. Right hand lands hard for Noons. Gurgel throwing combos but he's starting to miss more often now. They trade leg kicks. Uppercut by Noons lands. Gurgel shoots and can't get the takedown. Great body shots again from Noons. The bell rings as they're exchanging and Gurgel goes down just after the bell. THat was a huge hook. 10-9 Noons even without the hook.

Round 2 - Right hand, left hook and Gurgel goes down! A few more strikes and then an illegal knee and the ref jumps in. I'm not sure if the illegal knee will mean a DQ or not but the fight should have been stopped before then. Let's see the ruling. KJ Noons wins by TKO (strikes), round 2. The ref was coming in for the stoppage before the knee so that makes sense I guess.

Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza vs. Tim Kennedy - Round 1 - Both men trying to find their range early. Big hook from Jacare lands and now a series of punches in the clinch land for him. Head kick from Kennedy is blocked. Left hook lands for Kennedy now. Right straight for Kennedy lands but is countered with a leg kick. Jacare is throwing with big power and now Kennedy counters with an overhand right. Jacare goes body/head. They both land and Jacare slips but he's back to his feet. The bell rings and while it was a good round I'd score it 10-9 Jarcare.

Round 2 - Kennedy comes in fast and gets tagged with two punches. Kennedy comes in with a nice combination that lands. Nice right hand counter lands for Jacare. They exchange big shots with Jacare landing a little bit harder. Hard leg kick from Kennedy lands and another about thirty seconds later. Jacare shoots finally but can't get it. Superman punch from Tim lands. Push kick to the face for Jacare and the round ends. Another close one but I'd bo 10-9 Jacare again.

Round 3-Jacare looking to clinch up a little more it seems. Leg kick lands for Kennedy. Superman punch lands again for Kennedy. Kennedy is trying to use feints to close distance but Jacare throws a few punches to back him off. Bad cut over Kennedy's left eye. Jacare lands a few punches and a push kick and he's just winning this fight on the feet which is really impressive. Kennedy with a nice trip takedown and Jacare uses the cage to spin and stands up. Nice inside hook counter by Jacare and this is a very good round for him. The round ends and I've got Jacare winning all three rounds which means Kennedy would need a stoppage to win the fight.

Round 4 - Right hand lands for Kennedy. Kennedy misses with a superman punch and Jacare shoots under it but Kennedy sprawls beautifully to avoid the takedown. Leg kick and a superman punch from Kennedy. Right hand lands for Jacare as a counter. Right hand counter as Kennedy tries to flurry. Now an accidental low blow on a kick from Kennedy and Gurgel is given time to recover. Kennedy has a bad mouse under his left eye, the same one that is cut. Kennedy shoots and Jacare defends. Kennedy having his best round here and he throws another leg kick. The round ends and I have it 10-9 Kennedy to make the fight 39-37 so far for Jacare.

Round 5 -  Kennedy lands a left hand. Another left hook from Kennedy and Jacare answers with a few nice jabs. Nice punch from Jacare as Kennedy misses the shot. Body kick from Kennedy. Jacare winging bombs that miss the mark. Nice left hook from Jacare and he clinches up with Kennedy against the cage. Jacare takes Kennedy's back after Kennedy missed a punch. Kennedy escapes to standing though. Beautiful right hand by Jacare. Kennedy with a takedown but Jacare stands right back up. 10-9 Jacare on my card to give him a 49-46 win.

Official Scorecards: 49-46, 48-47, 48-47. Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza wins by unanimous decision.

Mo with a nice slam and Feijao pops right back up. Mo looking loose in his striking, using a jab. Body kick by Feijao. Nice jab by Feijao. Feijao keeps using the jab. Big uppercut from Feijao and a knee and Mo tries for a takedown but can't get it. Feijao with some punches and knees that have Mo backing up. Mo is already breathing a little bit harder than you'd like to see in round 1 of a 5 round fight. Right hand just misses for Feijao. Hard leg kick by Feijao. The round ends and while I doubt a lot of people will agree with me I'd say 10-9 Feijao.

Round 2 - Mo flinging punches to get in close but Feijao avoids most of them and circles out of the clinch. Hard leg kick from Feijao. Hard kick lands for Feijao and Mo with a big takedown into Feijao's guard and Feijao pushes him away and gets up. Mo now landing some nice combinations to the body. Feijao with a jab. Mo with a nice combination against the cage. Feijao misses the head kick and Mo lands a few more punches. Jab from Feijao again and that's his most consistent punch. Mo keeps going to the body which is great. 10-9 Mo.

Round 3 - Right hand from Feijao hurts Mo and another and now a knee form Feijao. Mo hard to the body. Huge knees from the clinch by Feijao and Mo is hurt badly!. Mo drives forward for a takedown after going down. Feijao busting him up with elbows the the side of the head and Mo slumps down after a ton of unanswered elbows to the head. It's over! Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante wins by TKO (strikes), round 1.
