Jon Jones on Paul Daley sucker punching Josh Koscheck:

It’s really bad for our sport. It makes our sport look really bad. It’s just a classless thing to do. It’s kind of like assault in a way. The fight was over, police and court could be involved in things like that. I just think it’s a classless thing and I will never watch one of his fights again.

I was pretty hard on Daley after the sucker punch, and I pretty much agree with Jon, but never watching him fight again is a bit stupid, and too much. Remember the positivity and forgiveness in this case Jon:) I’m glad the UFC threw Daley out over it, but I don’t wish eternal ruin on the guy’s life, and I’d like to see him get another chance down the line. A lot of people want to punch Josh Koscheck it seems, so if Paul can go a year or so with good behavior, I’d hope the UFC would reconsider.

What's this war in the heart of nature? Why does nature vie with itself? The land contend with the sea? Is there an avenging power in nature? Not one power, but two?

Toward the end they talk about UFC fighters being unbeatable in a street fight.

The only problem with that, is the fact that everyone is training MMA. Jon Jones himself could probably have whipped BJ Penn’s ass before he officially became a UFC fighter 2 years ago.

It would be better to say that a well-trained MMA fighter has a huge advantage in any fight.
Even if you don’t fight competitively, anyone with great physical conditioning who practices effective techniques thousands of time will be much more prepared for combat than even an experienced street fighter.
