Serious Question

Ok so I have been wondering…..Jorge Santiago’s rise to championship status can be attributed to which of the following:

1) He has vastly improved since his days getting KTFO by Alan Belcher in the UFC.
2) The competition level that he is facing now is at a much lower level.
3) He can do PED’s freely while fighting in Japan without fear of ramipercussions.

or is there something else???

Well, being the SRC champion just means being able to beat Kazuo Misaki, which apparently even Melvin Manhoef can do. So “championship status” doesn’t mean much in this context. (No dis intended to Misaki, who I love.)

I do suspect Santiago has improved since his UFC days, though.
