"I have a fight scheduled for September, in the Sengoku x Dream event, only I still don't have an opponent. I couldn't fight at the end of last year at the fusion of the two big Japanese events, but this year they're doing it in September and I'm already preparing, although I don't have an opponent. I believe I will face Michihiro Omigawa who is fighting for Dream and is the only guy to beat me, so I think they should give me the rematch."
- Sengoku featherweight champ Marlon Sandro speaking to Tatame.
Sengoku doesn't currently have an event scheduled for September, so it seems likely that Sandro is referring to Dream 16 on September 25th, an event which is rumored to be a "mega-card" for primetime TV.

love that Sandro/Omigawa rematch, if it happens
I throw raps that attack like the Japs on Pearl Harbor/MC's be out like bank robbers/Fleeing the scene, to be a sole survivor/DJ the getaway driver/Tried to dip but he dive, I socialize on vocal vibes/On tracks stabbed up with razor sharp knives
don't love
that Sandro/Omigawa rematch. Easy reason. Plus, Omigawa won the first fight, lest’s move on, there are enough good featherweight in both DREAM and Sengoku to make good matchups.
I'm going to assume you're just biased based on your username
But Sandro got absolutely robbed in their first fight. He deserves a rematch.
say wha?
Um, Omigawa didn’t blow out Sandro or anything… This rematch would be awesome

obviously
I don’t wanna see Omigawa beheaded. I think he has what it takes to fight Sandro but I don’t wanna see him lose and this possibility is huge.
Plus, I wanna see Omigawa vs Bibiano first. Michihiro is rising, no need to put some obstacles on his road until he’s a champion.
plenty of time to have him fight Bibiano between now and the end of the year, with Sandro on NYE. I actually think Omigawa would take the title

what about Ishida
with him at FW and adding Omigawa DREAM’s division is suddenly pretty stacked. if they go up against Sengoku more often it will be very competitive to WEC. If they were somehow able to cross promote w/ Bellator and Strikeforce they’d be really close to the WEC.

First news I’ve heard about a potential Sengoku vs DREAM card happening this September, that’s cool though. Hope they manage to put on new interesting match-ups.
LOL very timely news....
If you haven’t seen it, have a read of my “This Day in MMA – In the Hands of the Judges” in the recommended fanposts section today :) Funny timing.
For Sandro’s sake I hope this rematch does occur…and if so, Sandro by murderous revenge.
I am totally down for some Sandro-Omigawa 2
I think Sandro would definetely take the rematch. Although i feel this matchup is highly unlikely as Omigawa had only signed a 1 Fight deal with DREAM and has stated his desire to be in the WEC.
