Toney is acting the clow, and has done nothing but insult MMA, so why should anyone show him respect in return?
He hasn’t been respected by most boxing fans for quite some time now, his achievements are all irrelevant to his current standard, and his attitude is worthy of only mockery.

Yeah so next time I don’t like a fighter I’ll fly out to where they live, wait for them to step out of the grocery store, and tell them how I feel to their face…And then what? Is Toney going to punch me in the face? That would be horrible (until I get the out of court settlement). I know Toney’s not the smartest man on the planet, but I’d venture to guess he’d be smarter than that.
What’s the difference between me saying Brett Favre is old and out of shape and saying the same about Toney? Oh because he’s a fighter I should ignore his ignorant rants and keep quiet because that guys a fighter. I shouldn’t say anything unless it’s to his face.
Respect is earned. It’s not handed out like ice cream after a little league baseball game.
Toney was a great boxer.
But Randy is gonna own his ass in this fight, it’s stupid and shouldn’t even be happening.
