I like this fight a lot...
although its probably win or get cut.
205 is definitely the right weight for Reljic though…the cut to 185 was just too much, especially considering his only ufc win is at 205.

I definitely think this could be FOTN
Even though it normally wouldn’t, I hope this makes the main card.

Agreed on 205 for Reljic
Disagreed on K-Sos getting cut if he loses. He’ll still be above .500 (plus he’s Polish).
I love Goran and I hope he looks good here.

I think he does mean it's win or get cut for Goran

Look man, I don’t think there is anyone out there who is man enough to make jokes about TBA.

I wont even say “TBA” in front of the bathroom mirror.

potential headliners
Jon Jones v Forrest Griffin?
Shane Carwin v Roy Nelson?
Randy Couture v Rich Franklin?
I throw raps that attack like the Japs on Pearl Harbor/MC's be out like bank robbers/Fleeing the scene, to be a sole survivor/DJ the getaway driver/Tried to dip but he dive, I socialize on vocal vibes/On tracks stabbed up with razor sharp knives

Scratch Rich
he’s out till next year because of the broken arm.
yeah?
i got a chance to talk to him last month in Atlanta and he said he was hoping to get back in the gym by September. but you may be right, if he’s said elsewhere he isn’t actually fighting until next year

I expect UFC 122 to have a much better headliner than 120

Is it just me...
But I am sick of watching UFC’s headlined by losers of their last fights…here’s looking at you terrible Mir vs. Nog but now is even worse with Mir vs. Crocop.
Two cards, right? That’s what we’re talking about here?

What? First off this definitely isn't a headliner
It may not even be on the main card.
Also, CroCop has won against Perosh and Barry so where did he lose his last fight?

I'm fine with it
It’s a part of the excellent attitude amongst fans towards losing not being inherently career destroying or breaking, the opposite of which is often seen in boxing.

not complaining, but...
looks like a good prelim card. Is this a ppv?
by BJJDenver on Aug 18, 2010 12:29 AM EDT reply actions 1 recs
This is going to air on Spike
And none of these fights are confirmed.
I expect Sadollah/Sobotta to go on the prelims and Siver on the main card.

I'd like to see Siver vs. Guida
or Siver vs. Joe Stevenson or Pellegrino if either of them are healed by then.
I was thinking Gomi might work as well, but I’m hoping they match him with Sotiropoulos instead.

I definitely want to see Siver/Guida or Siver/Stevenson.
Or Siver/Tibau for the hell of it just to see guys who look like welterweights fight at lightweight.

Any news on Sherk?
I wouldn’t mind watching Gomi vs. Sherk or even Gomi vs. Stevenson actually. They already had training camps for each other so i’m pretty sure they’ll both agree to it.
Wow
thats a terrible match up for Sherk. Especially if he still thinks he’s a boxer
I’d like to get a “T-Rex Boxing” shirt with Sherk’s name on the back.

the ufc gotta feed that card with some names..
i was like i need to watch it, but hey.. this card doesnt hype me up at all so far.
the ‘rumored’ card for ufc 122 looks like a undercard right now.
sadollah vs sobotta? should be an easy win for amir..
FITCH for UNDERCARD!
It's a free card
these are pretty much just like fight night cards. The UFC rarely put big names on oversea cards unless a fighter is from that country.
I see Belfort vs. Sonnen for this card
Reasonings:
· Belfort has long been rumoured to be on this card as it falls in line with his planned return date
· Sonnen is injury-free following on from UFC 117 and would have (at time of writing) twelve weeks to prepare
· Both fighters are unlikely to have PPV % elements on their contracts, meaning no disincentive to fight on a free-to-air show
· Neither Sonnen or Belfort have faced each other previously (same can’t be said for other MW’s)
· Establishes a definitive #1 contender for the MW title once Anderson Silva is recovered
· Timing is near perfect: twelve weeks till this event, then circa twelve weeks till the next MW championship fight
I’d also speculate that we may see Shane Carwin vs. Roy Nelson as the co-main event for this card…
