Is Fabricio Werdum Injured and Needing Surgery?

Source: mma-con.com

Well I was curious ever since watching the Fedor Emelianenko vs Fabricio Werdum fight, how exactly could Werdum be injured when he finished Fedor with a submission rather quickly. So I went searching around the internet and talking to multiple mixed martial arts website owners. Well nobody really had an answer for how Werdum may have injured himself in that fight. So we came to the conclusion that maybe he had injured the elbow before the fight with Fedor, but chose to fight with the injury.

Well guess what? We stumbled upon this video on MMANewsLeak.com, and this video is an actual video with Fabricio Werdum. So what better way to get answers than a recent interview video with Fabricio himself?

Quoted from MMANewsLeak.com:

"Fabricio Werdum has been sidelined until 2011 for an elbow injury which will require surgery - at least that’s what Scott Coker announced late last week.
Werdum recently attended the Paradise Warrior Retreat in at the Tapout Training Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and MMANewsLeak caught up with him after the seminar for an exclusive one-on-one conversation."
