I less-rarely write
"I ain't having it" - Buster Posey, hosing folks down
Now thats a true warrior

Very nice
I’m curious: what was the religion he was talking about?
Don't believe a word I say, I don't train BJJ.

The official description says Jehovah's Witness
No link to this at the actual TED site though.
That makes more sense than LDS.
Thanks.

Man I remember watching that fight with Pete Sell
That was one of the most entertaining cards to date, featuring my two favorite Nates in the whole wide world. And after checking the sherdog forums the next day like I always did and seeing a thread where eveyuone was bitching about Quarry looking “sloppy” and the card in general I decided to never go back there again, and I still haven’t.
Well...
Guess I’m a Nate Quarry fan now, too. That’s the thing about MMA. These guys are special. There’s something in them you don’t find in the general population for the most part. I see something like this and I am just impressed as hell. You drive around and see all those useful idiots with some politician’s bumper sticker on their car… I want to put a Nate Quarry bumper sticker on mine. That’s someone worth looking up to.

Yup
Second time I got something in my eye today. This was on a friend’s facebook page this morning: http://www.facebook.com/#!/video/video.php?v=455621345922

It's funny, i've always looked at Nate as just
another mid level fighter. After seeing what he has overcome and the man I see him as now….well, in about 20 minutes of watching that, I am a huge fan. I will rewatch all of his future fights in a different light. Congratulations and well done, Nate.

Excellent. I’ve been waiting for this speech to show up online ever since my girlfriend came home from TEDx SF raving about it.
Bolts from the Blue // "Sometimes you would get the sense that people felt bigger than the team," Gates said. "Not to say it was an issue, but we know it’s not an issue for sure now."
Bloody Elbow // "I'm not Dog the Bounty Hunter, I don't issue apologies. And you're not going to be the first one to get one out of me." - Chael Sonnen
what was the song at the start?
Goldberg on Leben: One thing's for sure--he really did break that door on the Ultimate Fighter.
Rogan: uh...yeah.
Nice presentation.
I especially like this illustration of the opposite choices of regret verses failure. It really makes you think about the options in life in a new, strangely positive way.
I like Fedor, it’s just his fans that are intolerable...and his management.
From the Wiki page:
TED (Technology Entertainment and Design) is a global set of conferences curated by the American private non-profit Sapling Foundation, formed to disseminate “ideas worth spreading”.
