Luke Thomas on Comcast SportsNet's "Washington Post Live"
I'm talking UFC 116 and Brock Lesnar. They cut out part of our talk, but you get the idea. Kudos to the folks at WPL and CSN for covering MMA in local television affiliates. That's rare.

The Beard! The Suit!
Does anyone else think Luke looks like Ellis from Die Hard?

BTW, great work Luke
Hopefully you’ll be on ESPN MMA one day.

GREAT JOB!!
man, it is awesome seeing you get the recognition you deserve. i’ve been following your stuff for a few years (my other id is cagefightonacid but i deleted that email and can’t access it now) and it’s great to see the BE staff blowing up. honestly, i think being true to the material and being real with yourselves as MMA blogger/journalists have got you that following and that credibility in outsiders eyes as well. sorry for rambling and giving you a verbal back rub but i am proud of this site, the staff and the fans that are apart of this community.
Damn dude, you were pretty good.
Good job.=]

Best thing I ever took out of a film class
Try to never blink. The beard translates beautifully, though.

"I ain't having it" - Buster Posey, hosing folks down
You looked very comfortable on camera, so I hope you get more spots.
Is the whole piece online anywhere?
I don't think so, but...
I’ll be putting the footage on my YouTube channel when I get it. We talked about boxing and Cain Velasquez. It’s good stuff, too.

excellent!
excellent commentary, Luke. That is what I come to BE for. Excellent!
You’re eloquent with your vocabulary but not to the point where it seems like you’re trying too hard to use big words. You speak clearly and confidently and make your points without wasting time. You make great analogies and you gave great insight and support of Rosenthal’s reffing that lots of people haven’t seen due to a lack of knowledge. Keep this **** up, man.
Hard core MMA fan since UFC 99
Luke, you really think that that fight was the best HW fight you have ever seen???
Maybe you didn’t say that, but that is what it sounded like. That was a sloppy as hell fight. Lesnar showed huge holes in his game and that take down that you were impressed with in the second round was weak as hell. Carwin just fell over and then laid there to get choked. It was exciting to see Lesnar almost get taken out, but come on, there was really nothing special about that fight at all.
I don't know if it's the best
But it’s up there. I think we’ll just have to agree to disagree :)

I think that Fedor pulling the Sub after being mega supplexed right on to his head by Randleman was on of the greatest things comebacks i've ever seen.
Way more impressive then what we saw the other night.
Excellent stuff as usual, Luke. You really have great insight on MMA and mention points that lot of people miss. Classy presentation of the sport. Intelligent stuff

Fabulous job Luke. Really impressed with the balance of knowledge and layman’s explanation you bring to the multimedia stuff. And sweet, sweet Bloody Elbow of course.
