Exactly

I think half of the crazy Chael “boosterism” on sites like this are from guys trying to get a nickel more line movement for their bets on Silva…

i don’t know, i thought the line was pretty generous for chael

I’ll have money on Sonnen, Alves, Dos Anjos, and possibly Almeida. I’m really, really stoked for this card.

Dennis Hallman gonna wreck ben saunders. Lock of the night i cant believe hes an underdog that is an absolute steal.

Odds are a little off

Here’s a link to the UFC 117 odds on Bet US. Fitch is actually (-110), and Guida/dos Anjos is much tighter, at (-120)/(-110).

And if you can get Alves as a +105 dog, that’s a steal.

I bet Fitch

But this fight is a toss-up. So if you can get +105 odds on either guy, take it.

I wonder if these are must win fights for Strueve and Saunders.

Saunders is here to stay for a few more fights

Struve on the other hand pretty much has to win.

Nick Garcia is the Brian Russell of MLS but 10 times worse.

Really?

He won three straight, lost to Roy, who is fighting for #1 contender, and losses one more and is out?

I doubt it.

This seems like the most appropriate place in these articles to post this off-subject question… But I’ve been to mmaplayground.com numerous times over the last couple months, but today Google Chrome warns me it has malware twice before letting me go. Anyone else notice this, or have any idea why?

I just tried going there myself, I’m using newest version of Firefox. The front page opens, but when I try to go to the forums or the mailbox (which is part of the forum system, apparently) I get the same warning and it recommends me to not proceed. My layman interpretation is that the rest of the site is OK, it does not warn me when going to “My fantasy picks” or such. If someone more in the know has something to add, please feel free to do so. If you want to play it safe all together I guess you’d stay away from the site until the issue is resolved though.

Here is the explanation from Google on mmaplayground.com, and here is the one for mmaplayground.com/forums (just so you can see the slight difference there)

I’m definitely doing a Hughes and Roy parlay. I guess I can throw Spider in with it too, since I believe the chances of Chael beating him are less than asteroids colliding with Earth in the year 2012 and creating the apocalypse.

Too bad I don’t bet because i’d love to throw some money down on Sonnen if any betters are smart they’ll be making alot of money at UFC 117.

Fitch ftw

So pumped I got Fitch at +105 at the Bellagio a week or two ago. Way better odds than the current one.
