UFC 116 Results: Stephan Bonnar Redeems Himself and Knocks Out Krzysztof Soszynski

Stephan Bonnar may have been fighting for his UFC career, and he fought to save it.
Bonnar and Krzysztof Soszynski fought at UFC 110 in Australia. The bout ended early after an accidental headbutt was ruled a legal strike by the referee, giving Soszynski a controversial TKO.
Bonnar redeemed himself tonight, brawling with the Canadian through two rounds before finally dropping Soszynski with a knee.
The fight will draw comparisons to Bonnar's epic battle with Forrest Griffin at the inaugural Ultimate Fighter finale. Bonnar and Soszynski fought a wild, sloppy brawl that brought the crowd to life throughout the fight.
Bonnar appeared very emotional in the post-fight interview, thanking his family, friends, fans, and Joe Rogan.

Good for Bonnar...
he’s had a tough road lately and its good to see him get a win.
Dude. It's Anderson Silva.
If he gives a damn he will end Sonnen’s night by either sub or KO.

By Monday morning Chael Sonnen will be pissing out of his neck.

I watched
that EPIC Griffin-Bonnar fight in the first Ultimate Fighter finale and have been a fan of those guys ever since. That is still the best fight from the start to finish I have watched. I’m glad Bonnar got a win tonight.
A picture says a thousand words unless it is a picture of the Alabama football team then it only says one word.........CHAMPION!

That was a hell of a fun fight, and card in general. Congrats to Bonnar. Still ate a ton of shots, but he looked crisper on his feet than he has in a while.
