Quote of the Day: Tim Boetsch on Todd Brown Stepping Up on Short Notice for UFC 117

Photo

"It's kind of an interesting thing to think about. Cause I kind of know some of the mentality being the guy that's called on short notice and just kind of know the things that go through your head. If you're able to deal with some of the stressors or outside factors of a short-fight notice deal. It can be stressful and hard to deal with for some people. I've been fortunate I don't let those things bother me and that I can take fights on short notice. And I hope that's the case for Todd. I hope he comes out ready to come out ready to put on a good show because from the preparations I've been doing I plan on putting on a good show."

that was classic

poor David Heath, he’s a tough guy but all I remember about his UFC career is this, Babalu beating on him so bad and Machida toying with him for three endless rounds.

you can tell he wanted to soccer kick him as soon as Heath hit the ground.

He grabs the fence for a split second and thinks about it…

Oh yeah. Those moments of decision between brain and muscle memory are always fun.

Pretty stoked to see Boetsch back

I cant think of any other instance where someone got their shit tossed so bad as when Heath just got tossed like that

Is it just me, or does this dude kinda look like Jeremy Horn?

Whatever. Boetsch was an all around good fighter. Let’s see if he’s made some strides.
