He'd better enter to that song
a la Apollo Creed in Rocky IV.
Let's get naked and see who's stronger.

Tom Lawlor already did it....
He lost too.
Glad to see
He’s getting all the dancing out of his system now…
OK, but if he's "Living in America"...
Let’s hope he practices his English!
why
why’s he need to speak english?
That’s racist.

because it will make him a more popular fighter
because many “UFC” fans are racist.

I hope you are kidding. That’s not racist.

lol
who’s the other guy?
the following two things are signs of weaknesses:
stay silent when it's needed to speak up, and speak up when it's needed to stay silent.
Starts with "R"...
and ends with “ashad”

^^^^
emphasis on Silva punching Sonnen in the face during his dance routine. Otherwise Silva’s just a bum again.
Any time a fighter can do some capoiera mixed in with some Muhammad Ali style jabs its’ all good in my book. I wouldn’t mind seeing Rounds 1 and 2 (of the Maia) with a whole lot more jabs and knees.

Who was he dancing with?

I’d rather see Silva win a boring decision by doing that dance then see a boring decision win by Chael via LnP.
Was the Marquardt fight really that boring? If Sonnen gets some rad takedowns on Anderson I think that would be more entertaining than Anderson dancing around and hiding behind the ref..
Sonnen vs. Marquardt was excellent!

How crazy is that?

I don't care about anything else that happened in that fight.
That was wicked. Leites wouldn’t engage do anything other than flop, Silva got frustrated and clowned him. I laughed.
There were a bunch of cool moves in this fight . . . they’re just far and few between the butt flopping and back pedaling in the 5 rounds.

Yeah.
I didn’t fault Silva for that fight at all. He was moving forward and Leites kept flopping.
The Maia fight was different though. Silva was the one backing up.
Check the fight again. Maia flopped once or twice in attempt to pull guard. He was back-pedaling also. Silva gave Maia more than enough opportunities to kick, punch or slap him in the face in the 1st two rounds.
I can’t explain the last 3 rounds that was straight bizarre.

Yeah no doubt the last 3 rounds, especially the running rounds 4 and 5.
My thing is many people overlook the fact that Maia obviously wanted no part in standing during the first 2 rounds and was unable to take Silva down. Yeah, Silva was running wild but I only saw one real passionate effort on Maia’s to fight no matter what. He was swinging from his knees, that was hilarious but it took all that time, all that taunting for him to try something other than takedown attempts or pulling guard to do something meaningful.

As fans we all have our preferences but mark my words, after Silva I think it will be a long while before we see a really creative striker that has a grasp on many martial arts in mma. I would love to see more rounds 1 and 2 instead of the weird and awkward rounds 3 through 5 of the Maia fight.
The one thing about his detractors that really confuse me is how some are saying that he has boring fights. I can see a strong argument about the Maia and Leites fights. The Cote fight was weird for sure, but who can you fault about an opponent who injures his leg during the match. Cote was aware of his injury and I think Joe Silva or Dana was aware of it also. Anyway, THAT IS 3 fights. Silva executed the performance of a life time against a former LHW in Forrest Griffin, something former champions and current champion Shogun or Rampage was unable to do and he gets no love? Yeah I understand it’s all about what have you done for me lately.
Jones is definitely dynamic, creative and athletic. He has time on his side but his striking is not there yet. His greco-roman work is pure art.

Something you’ll never seen in MMA. Just toying witha motherfucker in a FIGHT. This wasn’t an exhibition.

Yeah
That shit was Bananas. If he came out and finished him early round three there wouldn’t have been a problem. People may have fussed over the disrespect, but the fact that he didn’t finish a fight that he so clearly could have / should have was the big source of drama.
The mood of the crowd changed from awe, laughter, perplexed to anger. People were laughing some where between rounds 3 and 4.
