Vancouver on UFC's Radar for 2011 event

VANCOUVER ON UFC'S 2011 RADAR DESPITE CHANGES-MMA Weekly

Vancouver along with Edmonton, Calgary and the province of Manitoba are on the UFC's radaer for events in 2011 according to Zuffa's Vice President of Regulatory Affairs Marc Ratner, on Vancouver Ratner stated:

“We’re busy working on our upcoming shows (San Diego, Oakland, Boston, and Indy) and haven’t really focused on Vancouver,” Marc Ratner, UFC Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, told MMAWeekly.com on Friday.

“When we start working on our 2011 schedule we’ll contact the City Council and the Commission and see what they need for us to return.”

On Edmonton, Calgary and Manitoba:

“(We) talked with the Manitoba, Calgary, and Edmonton Commissions last week,”

With Canadian Fight Nights in the pipeline the Octagon could be travelling regulary to Canada in 2011.
