Damn right!
So glad that Galvao is fighting again soon. I would rather see how Galvao does against Saffedine as i have been nothing but impressed by Tarec since seeing him in Dream. I feel that the Woodley matchup while very good, might be too much of a step up in competition just yet for Woodley as his last fight showed that he is still developing and is not yet at a contender level. Give him one more fight and see how he does before going up to the next level.
Galvao, Woodley, and Saffiedine are all prospects in Strikeforce’s Welterweight division, which is not very strong yet. It has a lot of good prospects, but it doesn’t have many established fighters. This is why I feel that Strikeforce needs to sign more mid-tier fighters like a John Alessio (this is just an arbitrary example) so that these prospects won’t have to fight each other so soon. I’m not saying that Galvao vs Woodley or Saffiedine isn’t a good fight because it is, but looking at it from a development/business standpoint, these prospects should not be fighting each other so soon in my opinion.
I agree with you there
Galvao already tapped out Alessio though but there are enough journeyman welters around to put in the mix. Nick “the Goat” Thompson would be a stern test for any of these 3: Galvao, Woodley or Tarec.
