Gareth Davies at the Telegraph reports that British welterweight prospect, John Hathaway, will face Mike Pyle in London at UFC 120, and not Dong-Hyun Kim as previously reported.

dont like this
pyles a big step down from diego, hathaway seriously could be 2 or 3 fights away from a title shot, this wont help him at all
We have a saying back home that if your coming on, COME ON!!!!
Fighters Only also reported it so I think he’s right
"Ten more seconds is all I ever ask. That's the good thing I learned about being KO'd twice. You don't see it coming -it's like death- you don't plan for it so don't wait for it. So many people are afraid of getting Ko'd that their hands stay home, but not me. I got to go out there and shoot the lights out and fall down" Jens Pulver

Aww man, is Stun Gun injured again? Or are they just pulling him out for a different fight?

Like someone said above, they’re probably just giving him a winnable fight in his home town.
They also probably want to take another look at him; he manhandled Diego and showcased some talent, but you can never be entirely sure. No need to toss him to a wolf without knowing for certain whether he needs to be developed or not.
WW is pretty booked up, so no need to rush any prospects.
isnt he 14-0?

talk about making an already unexciting card
even less exciting. Thank goodness this is free on spike, because the number of ppv buys on this might bottom out at 100 or 200 thou.

No need to rush Hathaway
Let’s not forget Junior Dos Santos fought Stefan Struve after beating Werdum.
Hathaway looked good in out-muscling Sanchez, but he didn’t look amazing. He’s still learning and developing at 22 years of age.
UFC didn’t rush JDS, Carwin, Valasquez, or Jones in their development. They’re also not rushing Phil Davis.
Diego’s a big scalp, but like JDS vs Werdum, it wasn’t a fighter in the best of shape who was still likely recovering from the absolute beating he took at the hands of BJ Penn.
