Anthony Johnson targeting October-November return, could make his middleweight debut:
"Anthony Johnson at one point weighed the same as Ricco Rodriguez, which is kind of scary. He weighed the same as Ricco Rodriguez, except he had abs," Johnson's agent, Ken Pavia, joked with MMAWeekly Radio. "He had a knee injury. He had surgery, took some time off to let it heal, it was giving him some problems, but now he's in rehab and doing rehab for his knee.
"We had a UFC offer in September that we weren't able to pursue. We're entertaining the possibility of taking a fight at 185, which is something we might have done anyway even if he didn't have the knee injury because that cut is just so tough for him."
"We were offered a fight at 185, a fight that we liked and before he accepted it, he said even if I do take a fight at 185, September might be pushing it. I want to get some time in the gym first... We're looking at late October, early November for him, and we're not sure if the first fight back is going to be at 70 and we're going to kill ourselves, or at 85 and just kind of kill ourselves."

Whatever weight class he wants!
I just can’t wait to see him back in the octagon, healthy and at full potential. The guy has probably one of the highest ceilings in the sport but so far it is just that.

Can’t…stop…watching…
Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.
I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Good point there, after all he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. Wouldn't change the fact I have to bum rides off of people.

I think 185 would be better for him. There aren’t as many wrestlers there and he should have more speed against the bigger guys.

Lol... I was just tracking down the same photo.
Yeah, it is crazy. His hands are bigger than Arlovski’s
Based on that picture
he should fighting at 205. He’s basically in Frank Mir’s weight class.
I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.
He’s talked about dropping to 205 in the past. He said when he trains with Forrest he can tell they’re about the same frame.
I get more rec's then a Toyota!
They might be the same frame, but Mir is a LOT thicker.
He’d have to shed a ton of muscle just to get within striking distance of 205.
Yeah I think Frank may be a little naive
It’d be a very difficult weight loss especially after he put on muscle to compete with Lesnar. I don’t think Frank understands how difficult it would be for him to cut weight. He’s probably never had to in his life.

They want him to move up.
He STILL doesn’t like the idea.
And then God created Saturn... and he liked it, so he put a ring on it.
Twitter me and what not.
Yes, please.

Frankly, I am not sure he is going to get down to 185
I saw him in the flesh and when he got on the scale he was 242 and he looked nearly ripped, no lumps anywhere.
242???
Damn, that’s big for a LHW. Where did he have to get on a scale when he was that big? Was it for a show or something?

242 it’s a big HW. Shaub is 235.
