Did you see Anderson’s face light up when they asked him about Chael?
This is going to be ugly… and by ugly I mean absolutely beautiful!
A true MMA fan from the great state of Arkansas.
He looked positively delighted. Like someone offered him a blowjob and his favorite dessert.

lol
he’s going to kill Sonnen. I think he’s going to embarrass him worse then Forrest Griffin, if that’s even possible.
I was think the same thing
I am thinking that this will be easier for Anderson than most people think and it will be similar in domination to his fight with Griffin,
Explain?????

That made me laugh!
I also think Silva is going to fuck up Sonne and we will see a million people nut hugging Silva again. He is still the best in the world even after his last fight, he is just one weird ass fighter.

I've continued nuthugging him to beat the rush
The combination of Chael not being nearly as good as he thinks he is, and Silva being Silva is going to be very bad for Chael’s face.
Tatum: I think he's a good man. I like him. I got nothing against him, but I'm definitely gonna make orphans of his children.

Nuthugger for life!
Anderson Silva has only disappointed the casual-to-“show me the knockout” fans. Most MMA fans still appreciate the fighter that he is.
It’ll be interesting to see Chael’s face when the bell rings in the first.

Like Chael or not. If he get’s Anderson to go 100% the whole fight, he earned his paycheck. No matter the outcome.
Lyoto looks quite a bit bigger than Silva (in terms of weight, because he probably has shoes and looks taller).
"...ride life straight to perfect laughter,
it's the only good fight there is."
I think its the little shirt.
If Anderson was wearing the same thing he’d probably look bigger than Lyoto. His arms look bigger and he looks all around more muscular.

Dont know
Lyoto looks naturally thicker to me. He has stocky torso, whereas Silva has this kind of thin body.

I see what you’re saying. Lyoto is probably a little thicker, but Anderson seems to have a bugger frame IMO. Compare their necks and shoulders. Damn that felt gay :)

might have to see the fight
After watching Anderson’s face light up I might have to watch the blood bath fight
Choke yourself. Use my hand.
Sick interview
You can tell these guys have each others back no matter what. Anderson is ognna show why he is the best in the ufc and Lyoto will be back.
he'll be back
if anyone ever gets the balls to accept the challenge.

Aside form Shogun I can't think of someone that I would pick to beat him...
Who would be crazy enough to take that fight.
Right
He and Jon Jones share the same problem – nobody wants to get their ass kicked by them fight them.
A fight between the two would be great, although potentially a very dangerous match-up for both.
I can’t see anyone at LHW coming close to beating either guy, aside from Anderson and Rua.

Did they say Anderson went 10 rounds on his feat and 5 rounds on the ground? If so that is would be crazy to even try. The type of conditioning to be able to do that is insane.
They said Shane Carwin simulated 5 round fights at 90% constantly, but look what that did :). So take the things they say with a grain of salt. Likely they did 15 rounds, but I doubt at 90% and I doubt with 1 minute breaks.
I don’t see Anderson changing any of his training after the last fight, and in that fight he started to feel the tank getting empty by halfway through round 2.

Anderson doesn't Bronchitis
Or Adrenaline dumps
Or Lactic Acidosis
Or punch himself out when he “hears the ref say he’s going to stop it”.
Cause there's only one, and that's me
You understand? for all that fighting, you understand
That sucka think he good, that sucka think he can whoop me
And i know he can't whoop me, Ay boy, the n**** whole style is chump

So either Carwin was lie which I doubt or he really did go those 5 rounds at 90%. Carwin was ready to go 5 rounds. He set a pace that nobody could keep up with in his body.
I know for my wrestling training we would wrestle people for 20 mins at a time and our matches were only 6 min or 7 min long. I would still “gas” some times even thought I could go 20 min in the room, a real match is a different animal.

Lyoto and Anderson vs. Rua and Jones in a tag team...
Damn…tough call…

Rua would smash Lyoto and Anderson would beat Jones.
I think it’s a push.

Idk about that
For starters, they should switch dance partners to make it work better.
Personally, after Maty + 1 more fight (if a legit one can be made) I think Machida gives Jones more problems than Anderson or Rua.

I actually think Jones would be a scary matchup for Silva
I think Silva wins, because I suspect Jones would be overconfident is his ability to weather/dodge Anderson’s strikes, but if he got hold of him and imposed his strength it could be ugly.
Tatum: I think he's a good man. I like him. I got nothing against him, but I'm definitely gonna make orphans of his children.
Jones hasn't really messed around with the striking against Vera or Hamill
Coach will probably have him working GnP as his bread and butter from here on out.
He’d be dumb not to.

I agree
I think Jones is a scary match-up for Rua as well. Machida, with his elite TDD and highly effective clinch work is another matter.
That is probably the 1 fight out of the 3 I would not bet on (either way), because it could be a great fight or it could go very badly for either guy very quickly.
All is of course predicated on Jones crushing Maty + another fight or 2 first if the UFC can find someone qualified who is either willing or lacks the clout to turn down the fight.
I nominate Thiago Silva as the next victim…

I’m truly counting down the days until Anderson and alot of mma fans get a huge wake up call when Sonnen works him at UFC 117. It seems as we get closer people are starting to mythologize the guy again and are going to be in for a shock when Chael takes him down and pounds him out I cannot wait to see it.

Somehow we see him as better than that
Or at least, we’ll see if Sonnen’s got the mental readiness to be able to work his takedown game in the first place, or whether he’ll end up like poor, hapless Maia…
Machida and Silva would make a great Pulp Fiction poster...
Machida as Travolta and Silva as Jackson… they both look like they’re ready to kick @$$!!
