yeah that sounds crazy
but I can see how that could somewhat replicate a knock down. All these guys train for worst case scenerio situations. You never know what works!

Interesting technique. Been training mma for about a year now and haven’t heard of that before. However we always do stand up after everybody is dead tired keeps you from killing one another and improves cardio.
