I'll give Jardine respect for not taking a "gimme".

We'll always remember...
but September is a date like any other. Shit has to happen on it every year.
Why?
Horrible, horrible shit has happened on any given date throughout history. Stuff even far “worse” then 9/11 on the scale of atrocity. You move on and keep living.

Not a gimme fight, but Jardine is a solid LHW who dropped down from HW, and Prangley just fought and lost at MW to Kennedy. So Jardine should have a big size advantage here. Now if he can use it and win his way back into the UFC is another question. As stated before, Prangley definitely is no pushover.

Jardine (and Rashad)
fought at HW a) to get on TUF 2 and b) the talent was thinner up there.
Would you say Rashad has a size advantage in his fights (when he could make 185)?

I think this is the best option for Keith
Shark Fights is not a direct competitor to the UFC, yet its a title and with the win he MIGHT be invited back. If he wouldve signed with a larger competitor to the UFC he might not get his invite back.
RIP Phil Harris. I'll miss you man
I'm sure that's the case here dude.
Keith, although fairs poorly with today’s LHW UFC crowd, is still intelligent and knows where his larger pay will come from in the end. It’s sad to see such a great character in a smaller organization regardless.
Yea I was bummed when he got cut
But I understood why, and honestly it should’ve been done. I would like to see him back in the octagon soon though.

with the win he MIGHT be invited back
After four straight losses I think it’s gonna take more than one win for him to get invited back, even if Prangley is a quality opponent. I think he’s gonna need another two wins before he gets another phone call from Joe Silva.
They love him at the UFC
I bet if he just cruised this year crushing cans on the indies like three times he would be invited back to the UFC.
He'll be back soon
If he wins this fight, as soon as some LHW gets injured Jardine’s phone will be ringing instantly.

Exactly what Jardine needed
a fight with a pretty good fighter who has a low chance of knocking him out
It's surreal to me...
…to see Keith anywhere but the UFC now. Like, it just doesn’t feel right. Hope he makes his way back.
And then God created Saturn... and he liked it, so he put a ring on it.
Twitter me and what not.
He'd
Do well in SF, the UFC has nearly all the 205 talent Keith should clean up outside the UFC.
Shogun lost a close decision! Everyone get crazy!
I think Maybe King Mo
King didn’t look great imo, he managed to get back up versus Hammill, and I think Hammil is much better than King Mo in most regards. Gas tank, mma wrestling, strength, heart etc.
Jardine also has better TDD than Gegard,
I think it’d be interesting.

King Mo has other worldly wrestling. Being competitive at international wrestling is an entire other planet than collegiate wrestling at which Hammill was not outstanding.
Also, Jardine’s striking has so many holes that anyone with a decent striking game can find them. He gets hit by the same left hook every time. A striker like Mousasi and a borderline obsessive film study like Mo can definately figure that out.
true but
While Mo’s wrestling pedigree is amazing it’s translation to MMA isn’t as good as some. Jardine is also fairly good at getting to his feet or not getting taken down, and if Mo can’t keep him down he will lose the stand up, barring a slipped in solid left hook.

Good fight for both of these guys
Shark Fights has been a really good promotion, great get for them. Prangley doesn’t knock out many guys, but he’s also never been knocked out. Only one TKO loss and that was knees to the body. So, probably going the distance, Jardine should be able to outpoint him.
