Contrary to a report posted on BJPenn.com, sources from Bellator tell MMAFighting.com that British welterweight Paul "Semtex" Daley (23-9-2) has not signed with the promotion.

Daley is set to face Brazilian veteran Daniel Acacio (21-9) at next weekend's Impact FC card in Sydney, Australia.

UPDATE: Daley himself calls the claims "bull****" and says "I doubt I will sign with Bellator anytime soon" on The Underground.

that would be a great place for him.

A couple of big wins and maybe a little ass kissing will get him back in the UFC.

They might make him do a public apology to Koscheck or something too…

All you Daely fans don’t hold you breath for that ? I have a feeling you will see Babalu, Josh Barnett and even Ken and Frank shamrock all on the same UFC then you will Paul Daley under contract with Zuffa ever again ? Who knows I may just be wrong but I don’t think there is no way Dana will say what he did about Daley and make the point he did to other fighters then in the future to let him back in, Dana made to much of a point and set to much of a example with Daely there is just no scenario I can see playing out where we will have Daley coming back to fight in the UFC. Dana knows he would look like a total and complete ass if he ever let him back in in the eyes of the Fans. media and most important his fighters.

He brought in Yvel

who has a much worse history than Daley. They’ll sell it as a redemption story, coming back as a babyface sportsman after learning his lesson from earlier days.

I can see Daley coming back in three[ish] years.

I have not signed with Bellator, this is bullshit. As it stands i am a free agent, and i am in talks with a few promotions. But i doubt i will sign with Bellator anytime soon.
