If I were to really bet on these Id take Yvel fo sho, hes gonna KO Rothy.
Man Dana shouldve given us this card free since he said hed make up for the Silva fight.
Mike Goldberg: "You know Joe, When Matt and his brother Mark Hughes were growing up, they would pound each other behind the barn."
I'd take Rothwell myself,
He has a good chin and all he has to do in close the distance with Yvel beat him up on the inside and stay outta the plum. Also doesn’t beat fighters that are still relevant

Macdonald is the favorite over Condit?
I’m as unimpressed with Condit as the next guy, but I still think his experience and grittiness are going to carry him to a win here.

MacDonald is going to lose. He’s definitely got a bright future, but Condit will be the brick wall for him to go back to the drawing board and get stronger.

You could take every underdog on the main card and not feel too bad about those picks. They are all very small underdogs, but still it’s a bit of value.

Parlays
Condit-Mirko-Liddell
Miranda-Danzig-Pyle
Single bets on:
Yvel
Thiago
Risky, but my DREAM wins put me way up this year. I’m willing to risk it for more glory.

I’ll probably throw down…
Condit-Danzig-Miranda as well.

Not bad on either. Parlays are tough when the odds are this close, but you could make some good $$ here.
They are tough.
Takaya-Gracie-Wicky was ballsy on my part, but I felt Gracie and Wicky were going to win. Takaya made me nervous, but pulled it off.

Parlays...
As I understand it, a parlay requires you to pick right on all 3 to win, but how is the payout done? Is it a multiplier? I’m not sure I’m using the right words, but how does a parlay of X Y Z net you more return than 3 single bets on each?
I haven’t done it by hand in a long time, but here’s what I remember… I could be wrong.
Example:
Carlos Condit @ +120
Mirko Filipovic @ +140
Paulo Thiago @ -215
I believe the formulas for favorites and underdogs are:
Favorites: (Odds + 100)/Odds
Underdogs: (Odds + 100)/100
In our case:
Condit: (120 + 100)/100 = 2.2
Mirko: (140 + 100)/100 = 2.4
Thiago: (215 +100/215 = 1.46
This gives you the parlay multipliers. Simply multiply them together to get the true odds of the parlay:
2.2 * 2.4 * 1.46 = 7.71
Now, that somewhat changes from site to site, but I haven’t actually done it by hand in forever. I normally use a site’s parlay calculator.

Great thanks.
I suspected it was something just like that, but I didn’t know the particulars. Are parleys always done in trios or are there places that allow you to string as many bets together as you want?
You can string loads of them together. I have buddies who throw 10 bucks down on 11 team parlays during NFL weeks. About three years ago, one of them hit for a friend… $40,000+. Made his year

Well, you’d lose 10 bucks every week for the most part in that type of parlay. I think people generally underestimate MMA parlays. Yeah, unpredictability of knockouts is a factor, but I’ve had more success with MMA than anything else in parlay betting.

Why do I want to say "Buncha Funch" every time I see Ricardo Funch's name?

UFC 115: Indifference
I don’t care who wins in any of these- I’d like to see either guy win in every single fight on the card. I can’t remember a recent card similar to this.
Even when I'm laying on my back I'm never backing down

Couldn’t agree more. And I like any parlay involving Condit.

My thoughts
Parlays are for sure things or massive value bets based on odds. I don’t see any fights like that on this card, certainly not two or three.
I wouldn’t make any parlays, but I’m not really a gambler.
When I gamble I see it more as a skill based on information and probability.
500 there.
then split the other 500 on individual bets on Barry, Rich, and a small play on MacDonald (he’s +250, so I think he’s worth the bet)

thats my parlay too
I think its a pretty good shot at some fake cash.

I think Dunham will win,
but it’s risky, and Griffin can eek out another decision…

Man, that's some good money on Condit.
If I wake up tomorrow and see that the world has ended, then that means God has finally granted my prayers.
GO Armageddon!!!
Good money on this card
Hmmm, what will I buy with this weekends winning?. Got the boat, Caye Island in Belize… Well, I guess Ill invest it this time!
not a particularly big-time card...
…but a really fun one. feel like I could just sit back and enjoy these fights, not a huge fan of any particular fighter, no titles/shots, but just good guys and good fighters.
