Mirko Cro Cop says "it will be a good stand-up war":
"I don’t like this tough guy attitude of fighting at the press conference, spitting at each other. This is just a sport and I like guys who act like a sportsman. He is a good fighter and a good striker, that’s what I like. I like to fight with the strikers, I prefer to stay in a stand-up position. Patrick will stay in the stand-up position, it will be a good stand-up war and the audience should be very satisfied with the fight."

I am buying the PPV
for this fight. If Chuck vs Rich is actually good… all the better.
i gave up on u already mirko sorry
i was foolishly almost convinced he would be back to form against JDS and again he looked like a shadow of his former self
the perosh win was nice but again mirko didnt look all that great
barry by tko round 2, the only reason it lasts that long is cause mirkos gonna avoid contact
We have a saying back home that if your coming on, COME ON!!!!
You're making it sound like
Dos Santos isn’t a beast. And the Perosh fight it looked like Mirko just didn’t want to keep punishing the guy anymore. This is going to be the fight where we find out what Mirko has left
of course JDS is a beast
top 3 hw in the world as far as im concerned but it was the way mirko fought in both those fights that showed me hes got nothing left
mirko hasnt looked good since he won the open weight grand prix hes washed up and barry is young and hungry its an easy yet sad pick
We have a saying back home that if your coming on, COME ON!!!!
On the UFC conference call yesterday, Cro Cop said he avoided kicking against Al-Turk AND Dos Santos because of the surgery. I believe he took the DS fight too early, as his knee was nowhere near fully healthy after the re-construction.
He did this also in Pride as he fought Overeem with the bad knee pre-surgery (both were actually strapped), and again could not use his most effective weapons, and was taken down at will.
Filipovic has a lot of Pride, and I belive he has made a couple of wrong decisions when his body was telling him no. I think we will see a healthy and better Cro Cop next weekend, whatever the outcome. If he goes out on his sword, that’s all you can ask for.
All Cro Cop has to do is take him down...
And the fight will go his way.
