When you’ve got reliable fighters like Karo and Paulo on your card(s), nothing can go wrong

Whats the odds for Filho showing up to one of the fights?

It’s like a card filled with all the dopers in MMA.

He's not
At least as far as I know. He fought Manhoef the 1 time in Dream but I watched that event I dont recall anybody saying it was for the Dream MW title.
Manhoef… If he would just calm down and fight with control he would have beaten Filho/Lawler.
Paulo still carries around his WEC belt, he clearly has mental problems.

Chael beat him, but Filho didn’t make weight so the commision made it a non tilte bout. Bullshit. If the Champ dosen’t make weight and loses he should forefit the belt.

I know he’s not. Just a sarcastic rhetorical question. I don’t what makes these promotions think they can get away with obvious lies like this. Blows my mind.

Expecting Filho and Monson to fight twice in 1 week is a mistake
and not just because Filho is crazy but what happens if 1 or both of them get knocked out or injured?
Monson should be fine...
Win Sergei Kharitonov SUB Dream 8 4/5/2009
Win Sergei Maslobojev SUB CW – Decade 3/29/2009
Win Roy Nelson DEC SRP – March Badness 3/21/2009
The same can’t be said for Filho.
That doesnt mean shit
I understand that he can do it but if he gets ko’d or injures something he is going to have to pull out.
All I will say is hopefully they have someone on back up or if anyone is unable to go still pay the fighters their money.
I didn’t realize Monson was flakey too.

Welcome to MMA!
You must be new. ;-)
Dude. It's Anderson Silva.
If he gives a damn he will end Sonnen’s night by either sub or KO.

i wanna see someone ktfo barnett
mighty mo was so close and barnett shoulda been dq’d for ball kicks
and im still pissed at the guy for killing affliction which was a horribly run promotion but dammit was it entertaining, ill forever love the guys who thought it was a great idea to put tito as a color commentator, possibly the funniest moment in mma history was titos struggle with the english language that entire card
We have a saying back home that if your coming on, COME ON!!!!
I just love how everything always related back to Tito.
‘So, Tito, what do you think of Fedor?’
‘Fedor is a legend. I aspire to be a legend some day.’
maybe impact will be totally awesome and have tito and bas as commentators
who would talk about themselves more? it’d be a struggle between two of the biggest camera whores in mma
We have a saying back home that if your coming on, COME ON!!!!
Tito takes his lessons from Frank Shamrock.

Well, he did challenge for the HW title three times…
Anyway, what’s the odds for Filho no-showing both fight?

And lost every time. That doesn’t make you a champion. That would be like ESPN promoting Kenny Florian on MMA Live as a “UFC Champion” because he fought for the belt twice.

It looks awesome
but a bit crazy. Monson and Filho fighting twice in basically one week?
Features a lot of “crossroads” fights:
Karo – Is he clean and in shape?
Filho – Will he even show up?
Rodriguez – Is he back to being a legit contender?
Rizzo – Is he in shape? Does he still have it?
Bustamante – Still have it or Shamrock Syndrome?
Sokoudjou – Will he fold again?
Kang – Will he fold again?
"Geronimo Mondragon Dos Santos"!
My nominee for fighter least in need of a nickname. 1st runner up, Antz Nantzen.

Somebody needs to say it-I fear for Ken Shamrock’s life. This man was knocked out by a jab from Robert “Buzz” Berry,of all people. Now he’s going to go up against one the deadliest strikers in the history of the heavyweight division?
There is no possible way this fight can end well for Ken Shamrock.

These are good cards, with some name guys and interesting match-ups but where is impact going to go after this. They don’t have the local up and coming talent on these cards to develop their own stars that they will need for the long term. They probably should have split these cards up into 3 or 4 cards, and added more young up and coming guys.
