Dana White is cool but he looks like an idiot always trying to convince viewers that FIGHTER A hates FIGHTER B.

that always annoys me too. The funny thing is Lasnar and Carwin have been prerrty respectful to one another in recent media appearances and on the conference call.

He signed a fan’s cardboard stand that they had written on. No big deal and all in fun. Lesnar and Carwin were fairly respectful to one another in their conference call. No trash talk at all. They certainly don’t hate each other.

That was just an example of the trash-talking
that Carwin has done over the past year. The internet is scattered with his quibs. I couldn’t care less about a trash-talking fighter, I hate hypocrties. And he’s trying to come off as some White Knight of virtue when in fact he is not. If he’d say “Hey, I like talking trash too”,I could applaud that.
And I don’t think they “hate” each other at all.

Has anyone seen the UFC 116 site?
It’s pretty innovative in the fightpicker.
But what happened to them doing the sites? The best one I’ve seen was 75.ufc.com with the whole LHW division on there. Hell I still go and look at that every few months to see how the division has changed.

I expect all the ESPN interviews to start rolling out towards the end of the week, but yeah for the most part Brock’s name alone could sell the shit right out of the PPV’s ass.

I wouldn't know if ESPN has much coverage for it or not
because I refuse to watch it while this ridiculous World Cup is still ongoing. They are giving it massive amounts of airtime and I’m not sure why because no one in the states gives a shit, especially now that they don’t have to pretend to because the US team is gone. ESPN is just garbage these days.
Forget it Donny, you're out of your element.

…. What the hell does dunking a basketball have to do with fighting ? LeBron James can dunk too does that mean he’d be a great fighter ?

Lebron would probably a great fighter if he had a chin (which we’ll never know). Dude is 6-8, 250 (and a lean 250 at that) and is fast as hell. He’s got great body control, has a HUGE wingspan, like an 85" wingspan or some shit if I remember right… and let’s not forget he’s explosive and athletic.

No way he's actually 250.
Some reports have him as high as 285

I’m suprised more people haven’t expressed their amazement of the Carwin dunk. This isn’t just some 6’1 3/4" dude with pretty good hops. This is a 6’ 1 3/4" 285lb block of muscle that can seriously elevate. It’s a testamant to his explosiveness and power.
Your beliefs become your reality.

Actually..
I think Lebron would do well as a fighter..
His size, speed, strength, and athleticism would have him over .500 as a fighter on those gifts alone.. Give the guy 2-3 years to train and he could very easily do well in the sport..

Keith Jardine is now known as "The Dean of Antihistamine" because he is always sleeping early in fights..
Maybe.. maybe not.. lol
I’m in favor of his natural athletic ability giving him an edge over some of the more slower and non-athletic guys out there..
Also, I think you might underestimate exactly how strong and fast Lebron is.. The dude can throw a football as far as the best QB’s in the NFL (60 + yards).
The guy can squat ridiculous weight. His explosive power would make GSP look like he is running on empty..
I didn’t say he would be a world class fighter.. Just that he has the potential to be a good fighter, based on his natural athletic gifts alone.. I think those gifts alone would put him slightly above .500 for a fighting career.. It would depend on how serious he took the sport and how much he was willing to sacrifice of himself to get better.. His natural talent alone is sickening..lol

There’s no school that will teach you how to be as athletic as Lebron James. He’s one of the most physically gifted guys on earth. People are saying 250, but I’ve heard he walks into training camp at 275, with about 5 percent body fat. He is an absolute specimen, and I firmly believe he would excel at virtually any sport he attempted.

still would be hard to compare. Both destroyed him in different ways. Mir`s biggest downfall is the fact he does not train for everything, just decides to focus on one thing he wants to acomplish and then goes about his merry way.
In the Lesnar fight it was said he did not focus on grappling at all for his fight but decided that Brock would not take him down the second time and thought that it would be a stand up war.
In the Carwin fight he admitted to only training to not get taken down and forgot about getting his face smashed in while on the fence.
That would explain much, and what an idiot, if it is true
I often wondered about what I took to be his seeming total disregard for gameplanning.
When you see him constantly stuck in bad spots, and instead of trying to extricate himself he just sits there getting dominated with that stupid “I’m cool, I’ve got this” expression on his face.
Wasn’t sure if it was just arrogance, but it always appeared as if it genuinely never occurred to him that it might go any way other than how he imagined it would go.

I find it funny how Brock likes the health care system that diagnosed him with mono, and thinks less of the one that actually diagnosed his illness correctly.
I think he likes being better because of the Capitalist system that FIXED him.
There is no contest. Americas h/c system is better. More specialists, high tec equipment, preventive care, MRI machines that are used to diagnose more accurately faster. Don’t worry though if B.O.’S system gets rolling, the crack heads will get better care than your grandma who actually paid into the system and was a decent productive member of society.

Chael, quit trolling now buddy.
Well, anybody who knows me knows I'm no fan of dictionaries or reference books. They're elitist. Constantly telling us what is or isn't true. Or what did or didn't happen.
I've been fighting for a long time.
I’ve not discovered too many liberals in the fighting arts. Fighting arts tend to set people straight on reality in a way tennis players or golfers don’t get. They say a lib is a conservative that hasn’t been mugged yet. I would extend that to a person who hasn’t had anyone close to them murdered by a career criminal or seasoned alcoholic drunk driver. I’ve had the misfortune of having both and in law enforcement I’ve seen tons of it in other peoples lives. So in short, Marco, go hug your justice sotomayor.
That's hilarious dude
Because I’m from Canada (near Toronto) and remember going to the hospital when I was 19 and had surgery on an abcess a half an hour after I was properly diagnosed.
Ever thought it might have anything to do with he was in the middle of no where in Saskatchewan? I am pretty sure if he was in Arthur Ranch, WY, it would have been the same shit. :P
"90% of this sport is 50% mental" - Tim Sylvia
Is it hilarious?
I’ve spent a little time in the government and politics and can confidently tell you that England and Canada suck for health care. My doc has 6 canucks for patients and he’s a libtard. I remember talking to a guy at work whose mom got a hip in no time but most people die from not being diagnosed in time because they don’t get the proper cat scans and mri’s in a timely fashion. google up how many mri machines the canucks have and how many specialists they have. Derrrrrrrr.
Whoever gasses first wins. There’s no way Lesnar or Carwin can make it past the 3rd round.

Brock is getting knocked out...
There I said it. I feel better now. We will have a new HW champion on Saturday.
I think that the HW division is about to get really exciting
…regardless of how things go down this Saturday. There are just a lot of great match-ups that should produce epic, memorable fights. Sylvia vs. Monson will be nothing but a fading distant memory.

I don't think either Cain nor JDS would have anything for Lesnar
As good as they both are, aside from the proverbial “puncher’s chance” I can’t see either guy having much of a chance.
Much like what will happen Saturday, they would likely be taken down early, controlled and pounded on, repeating as necessary.
Lesnar might choose to stand longer with them than he will against Carwin, where I suspect the first time he tastes Carwin’s power will be the last…he will either be KTFO (unlikely, but…) or he will opt to take Carwin down, early and often.

Can’t really give a reason why, but I’ve always gotten the impression Carwin is just as much of a dick as Lesnar, just not as vocal about it.
Not gonna pretend like I know the guy personally but having met him in person he seems like a genuinely nice guy. He actually thanked me for waiting in line to get his autograph.
