I hope Wandy continues to get back to form. The guy seems to be getting closer and closer to what he was with every fight.
Honestly, I feel that Wanderlei is getting better in that he is getting less reckless and utilizing leg kicks much more. The Bisping fight really showed that Wanderlei is fighting much safer, but still with a lot of offense.
his strategy of exploding at the end of rounds with that vintage aggressive wandy attack is brilliant
he had bisping ko’d at the end of the fight and it really helps him win close rounds
We have a saying back home that if your coming on, COME ON!!!!
Wanderlei can't lose to Asian fighters.
I foresee a brutal KO in Akiyama’s future.

Damn, I don’t want to see either of these guys lose. This fight could really go either way. I think people forget that Akiyama has KO power, and could catch Wanderlei just as easily as Wanderlei could catch him.

A small tear formed in my eye watching this.
I can’t wait for this fight!!!!

Kinda conflicted here
I love Wand, I hate Akiyama. I want Wand to smash his head in.
But that Wand is gone. He’s never coming back. I don’t think Wand can beat top athletes anymore. I hope I’m wrong, we’ll find out after this fight.
Akiyama is at +225 on mmaplayground and I’m betting heavily on him.

Nevermind….
I guess the plus is Akiyama gets a last minute replacement for an easy win (unless).
The negative is we wont see him again for another 12-14 months cuz his contract is soo crazy.

Pain don't hurt...
Wand will be turning 34 on his couch on July 3rd
Too bad Wand is now injured and out of the PPV fight!
Looks like he’s gonna spend his B-Day being a couch potato!
I can't watch this now.
