From Dave Meltzer's Newsletter:
"The very preliminary PPV numbers were estimated at 520,000 buys, which is more than I expected. Keep in mind that any number we get less than two weeks after the show is only a very preliminary estimate and the final number could vary greatly."
This marks the fifth straight UFC PPV to sell more than 500,000 buys (111-115) which are detailed below:
111-770,000
112-500,000
113-520,000
114-1,050,000
115-520,000
Total=3,380,000
This seems to mean the UFC is in for a long, profitable summer.
