If those are the correct odds, I might just lay a little on Toney and pray for the KO. Anyone know what the catchweight will be?
Man I wish this card was the Oakland card. The Oakland card will be my first live UFC. yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
this is a great card
Florian vs. Maynard should be great

Initial impressions
I love what Frankie had done over the past two years, but I really hope to see a motivated, active, 100% BJ Penn in this fight instead of the plodding, dull, and seemingly distracted BJ from the first fight. I want to see a fantastic battle between the two.
I’m just going to have to convince myself to enjoy the Randy/Toney fight as simply a fight to entertain, not a fight with any legitimate meaning in the sport. Toney may surprise the hell out of me, but otherwise its 99% expected Randy.
Florian / Maynard is a supremely relevant fight, and one I’ve been looking forward to for a long time. Whoever wins this will probably fight the winner of the cards headliner. Kenflo’s increased striking accuracy and improved sprawl will probably win this fight for him.
Love for my boy Nate, but he had better be amazing off his back for this fight. Better yet, he needs to forget about flying knees and keep his base solid all the time.
I think I like Marcus only because Dellagrotte has always blown me away as a corner man and trainer. That coupled with my dislike of Nate’s personality, leads me to hope for a Davis resurgence which is just simply unlikely.
Lovin those prelims
This whole card is ridiculous.

Like everyone else has said, I think this is an amazing card.
Please no injuries!
This is an amazing card .....

Don’t tell me you wouldn’t get SOME pleasure out of watching Toney get tooled on the ground and subbed
I won't lie ...
…. I never liked his fat ass anyway so yea I’ll get SOME pleasure out of seeing him get a schooling in MMA . My only issue is its a co-main .

Co-main is annoying
I was hoping ti would open up the PPV. Don’t think they’d put Randy that low on the card though
Agreed . Randys a big name thus his top billing .

Toney
Will impress me in many ways if he A) shows up in shape B) shows SOME inclinations that he studied wrestling and BJJ and C) Doesn’t get submitted in the first round. Also bonus D) If he actually checks a leg kick before getting dropped on his head. I think all of us are looking forward to this fight regardless of the massive deficit in skill, experience, and ways of finishing the fight. My only hope is Couture shows some sense of mercy and doesn’t drop bombs on his head from top control. Toney doesn’t need any more punishment…

Sakara-Rivera on Spike is the best (and easiest) decision they could have made.

Like everyone else said
This card is absolutley sick. I think this will do big numbers. Especially if marketed correctly toward casual fans. James Toney being a champion boxer brings just enough of the freak show element without totally compromising the UFC’s integrity.

Its too good though, injuries will happen :(

James Toney looks like an old school ninja turtle.
Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.
I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Good point there, after all he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. Wouldn't change the fact I have to bum rides off of people.

Televised card is outstanding...
and if we get a few prelims I hope Lentz vs. Winner is one of them. Stylistically it’s a cool matchup, since they’ll each have their advantages.
I'm like PacMan fightin you silly kids... throw ya Hatton the ring, and get knocked outlike Ricky did.
lol.
What’s the deal with the Fight Club membership thing? Does that basically mean I won’t be able to get tickets if I’m not in it?
Yes.
They sell tickets to Fight Club members first, so if the Fight Club buys all the tickets then the event is sold out before the tickets are ever available for you to buy.
This happened for 115. Fight Club tickets went on sale on Tuesday, with regular tickets going on sale on Thursday. But the whole event sold out in 30 minutes on Tuesday, so by Thursday there were no more tickets to sell.
I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.
Great card
It looks like I will be busy getting Nate ready for the stand-up with Davis. But upstairs or downstairs he will win.
I will definitely lay some money on Toney if the odds are anywhere in this neighborhood. Not so much for Toney but against Randy’s noodle chin and terrible head movement.
Toney's picture is the odd on out
Is it just me?
Not you
The UFC hasn’t posted an official photo of Toney yet.

How better looking can he get till then?
Listen. This guy does not look like a fighter. I am sorry. He looks like fat albert. That’s just an awful picture and I mean no disrespect

Why?
Because it’s explosive?

It should
But it’s really hard to sell someone as boring as Maynard.

I’m willing to bet that this card is promoted just like UFC 81 was.The actual main event of that card was Tim Sylvia vs Minotauro Nogueira, but from the way it was promoted, you’d never know. That card was promoted as being Brock Lesnar vs Frank Mir,which was the co-main.It was promotoed as “how would a pro-wrassler do against an MMA fighter?”
I have the feeling that the promotion for this card will be the same.It will be “How will a boxing legend do against an MM legend? Also on the card……..”

Pics are so strange
Quite a few of these guys look like serial killers. Doesn’t anybody smile for pictures any more?
Card looks fantastic.
Early picks, subject to change:

Randy
Kenny
Palhares
Nate Diaz
Lauzon
Sakara
Winner
Osipczak
Pierce

As for the smiles...
It is usually just the most confident, and most dangerous who will do so…everyone else is so worried about trying to look like they imagine a bad-ass to be…
Seriously, am I the only one who is rotflmfao at guys like Diego Sanchez when he starts that pseudo-intense crap.
