Claude Patrick tells the UG forum that he's alright with Mirko Cro Cop snatching the submission-of-the-night bonus away from him at UFC 115:
"up comes mirko cro-cop and pat barry I had ZERO fear this fight would end in a submission so it wasnt event on my radar in terms of costing me this cash heheh .. but it just goes to show this thing is themost dynamic sport in the world.. mirko takes 2 knock downs and comes back to do two things totally out of character 1- submit an opponent and 2- take the mic and start talking... god damn!!!!!! right there my heart broke starting to think this man may have really got sub of the night...
in terms of technical application ill leave that up to the masses to decide but mirko is a legend in the sport and win lose or draw has put on some of the best fights ever so while i cant say im glad he took the CASH i can say if it had to be someone its not terrible that it was him :)"

Seriously though, nice to see Claude not whining about it, seems like a cool guy.
I’m sure he needed the money a lot more than Mirko did. (as did Pyle)

Pyle definitely had the best actual sub, no doubt

I was hoping he’d bust out the Stockton hey buddy after flexing but the elbows suficed
It was the ugliest RNC Ive seen...
this side of a… god. I can’t even think of a finish to the joke. It was bad.
One, he didn’t get his hooks in. Two, he didn’t slide the securing hand behind the head of Barry at all. If Barry had known what he was doing and/or not had broken bones at the time, he could have easily escaped. Cro Cop had no secure control of the choke or Barry’s body.
Pyle’s submission was much, much more technically sound.
Ugly? Yes….Super cool? Yes…..Strange? Yes.

Very classy of him to say what he did. He could’ve complained in a professional manner and speak about how his game is more technical, but instead he took the high road-kudos
But Claude not only had sotn taken away, he even didn’t show as much class compared to Mac Danzig. Are you kidding me?! of Course it’s the refs fault.
I’m becoming a bigger and bigger Claude Patrick fan by the day. I’d heard a lot about how he was overrated and has faced sub-par competition coming in (and I picked Funch in their bout, to be totally honest), but he looked great and I love his point of view. I think he could be a pretty big star if the chips fall the right way.

Pyle should have won it...
…but this is still a very classy reaction. Honestly, the second Cro Cop locked that sub in I knew he was going to win the bonus. Pyle could’ve invented a new sub and Mirko still would’ve won the bonus.
Knowing how the UFC does business, I wouldn’t be surprised if Mr. Pyle received some sort of compensation.
Claude Patrick these last few days sence after the event sence I watched his first post fight video has really started making a fan out of me, He seems to dam nice and down to earth. Then to add this on being so nice and respectful like one should be to a MMA legend like Mirko just makes me that much for of a fan of Claude.
