Paulo Thiago says "I didn’t fight well at all" in an interview with tatame.com:

"I didn’t fight well at all, man. I couldn’t do it, I froze… I went forward on the beginning of the fight, but then I got stuck there. I don’t know what happened, but I couldn’t play my game and he won", regrets Thiago. "I couldn’t make my game plan… Maybe I could have done better, but I didn’t. Now I have to study this fight, try to see my mistakes, improve my mental state and make it up with myself".

He probably didn’t fight his best fight, but i think he was just outclassed by Kampmann

No, he’s showed very well that he belongs among the top fighters in the welter weight division, so I don’t think Kampmann would outclass him.

What we saw was a Paulo Thiago that couldn’t get anything working that night.

I give my kudos to Kampmann, but he looked off even at the very beginning of the fight. Kinda reminiscent of how BJ looked in his fight against Edgar.

I look forward to seeing him next time he fights.

Thiago needs to work on his striking more.

Yea he has shown to have some power in hands but his technique is definitely lacking. Hopefully he tightens up his striking cause I definitely want to see him fight for a title down the line.

I'd thought he tightened it up against Mike Swick?

Oh wait, there was that sharp shot from Swick that had Thiago backing up, though it led to Swick getting countered rushing in…
