Court McGee vs. Kris McCray Moved to Main Event for The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale
According to ufc.com (via mmaweekly.com):
The UFC made the move on Tuesday moving McCray vs. McGee to the top of the card, while light heavyweights Keith Jardine and Matt Hamill will remain the co-main event for the televised show on Spike TV.
Court McGee tells sportsnet.ca what he told the producers to get on Season 11:
"I've a pretty good record, I fought some good dudes, and think I'm good enough to get on here and win this thing. And not to mention if maybe someone can get some inspiration from my story and maybe try something different than using and drinking, then maybe I can be a role model for young kids or anyone around the country or around the world that's having drug problems. And that's what I told them."

Pulling for Court
Winning TUF would be a fitting end to a fantastic story.

Noke, Cort, McCray and others. There is a lot to like about these guys. Character, work ethic, improving as fighters and so on, but I am really having a tough time seeing where the next Rashad or Forrest is coming from in this season. Not that I am against any one of them making it to the top, but somebody please tell me what I am missing here.
I like Kyle Noke a lot. Hope he wins this weekend and gets a shot at a longer stay.

I think a couple of guys could improve dramatically and become eventual contenders
but at the same time wouldn’t be surprised if they never made it beyond journeyman status.
The house is a real awkward fight prep situation: the short time between fights, the lack of time to game plan, and the lack of time to learn to adapt to different fighting styles is a tough comparison to normal fights with the time to run a solid camp. It’s no guarantee that any of these guys will dramatically improve under different circumstances, but I think a lot of the guys who are more well rounded might seem less impressive than someone like Rashad who had a bread and butter skill set (wrestling in his case) to see him through.
The experience levels of each fighter coming in is different. Yager is still only 26, and only had three professional fights without ever fighting amateur bouts. While Noke looks more polished now, he also is 30 and made his debut back in 2002. Who is able to continue to progress is always a tough call, but I can see some of the greener guys turning the corner based purely on improving their skills sets.
The other factor is weight, a lot of tuf alumni jump to different weight classes and match-up to others completely different then they did on the show. Not saying that this will definitely happen with this crop, but it’s something that has happened in the past.
Who would want Hamill/Jardine to be main event?
Name me one fighter who has lost 3 in a row and headlined any card?
Good move by Spike.

Exactly. I see no problem with having The Ultimate Fighter Finale headlined by the finalists of The Ultimate Fighter. Jardine vs Hamill is a fun bout, but I think that McGee vs McKray is not a bad main event and makes sense.

Jardine vs Hamill is a fun bout for Hamill.
Good wrestler with heavy hands against sloppy striker with glass chin?
I haven’t been this confident about an outcome in years.
I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.
While I mostly agree with you, the only thing that stands out to me is that Jardine keeps getting dropped by left hooks, and Hamill, while he is strong as a bear, hasn’t shown that type of strategizing to me. I just don’t want to see Jardine getting cut by the UFC, so I am going with him to win this. However, I wouldn’t put money on Jardine at all.
If Chuck refuses to retire
You can bet he will be headlining a card.

Not really excited about Keith/Hamill
