Reason?
Didn’t say why.
Also, why is Eddie Wineland on the main card and Wagnney Fabiano and Raphael Assuncao are both on the preliminaries?
Strange choices.
Hopefully Fabiano/Gomez gets moved up due to this
Both guys are coming off of wins, it seems like the most fitting fight to move to the main card.
A mystery to me too!
Wagney has never been on a main card for the WEC and we were only able to see him once due to his upset loss to Mackens Semerzier. I am guessing they have Eddie Wineland on the main card cause he is on a bit of a winning streak and the fact that his opponent Will campuzano is an exciting fighter. Who knows, i’m just throwing it out there.

Wagnney’s first fight with Tamura was on the main card. He’s been demoted because he’s been using a conservative wrestling style that doesn’t translate to TV very well. That, and losing to Mackens.

It doesnt sound good...
when all you have is apologies and no explanation whatsoever. Even if it was an injury he could have said it without disclosing said injury. Anyways; im sure we will hear about it in the next couple of days leading up to the fight. Let the assumptions begin.

Downes is also a cerebral fighter who owns degrees in International Affairs and German from Marquette University.
So, because he has degrees from a university, he’s a cerebral fighter? Interesting.

is not the same as
Downes is a cerebral fighter based on / because of his degrees in International Affairs and German from Marquette University.

Sure, it doesn’t say that outright but because of the fact you included “cerebral fighter” and immediately followed that with his degrees, it is quite easy for anyone to assume the latter statement. Perhaps, next time, you should divide it into sentences.
