Rampage, I’m pretty sure will knock out Rashad Evans.
But Amir Sadollah at -150 against Dong Hyun Kim? I really like Amir, he’s for real, but that line seems fucking crazy to me.
I refuse to bet against anyone with the word ‘Dong’ in their name. Amir is going down!

Winner gets punted around by Shogun.

Just confirming my opinion of Jake Rossen.

Shogun has faster hands and leg kicks that will chop up Rashad’s shooting power and good enough BJJ to get back to his feet whever he gets taken down.
Rashad couldn’t do jack shit to thiago Silva (who was fighting with an injured back), other than repeatedly take him down. Shogun would eat his lunch.

Calling it now, Todd Duffee is the HW GSP.

In which way? How he’s young and athletic? I want to compare him to a younger carwin given his KO power and string of KO wins, but he doesn’t have the wrestling background of either fighters.

GSP doesn’t have a wrestling background. He developed the most dominating wrestling game in MMA in about 4 months after the Serra loss. Duffee is very athletic and just needs to channel his gifts to become a monster.

Has everybody seen more from Todd Duffee than I have? I’ve only seen him fight for eight seconds.

"a younger carwin"
There’s a younger Shane Carwin? It seems to me like he’s a perpetual 30-year-old, he just has that look about him

The main event rocks and it's still a good card
but the loss of Griffin sucked. I mean Bisping/Miller as the co-main event? Bisping is 1-2 over his last 3 and Miller has lost 2 straight.
But having Sanchez and Lil Nog on the card helps. Interested to see what Duffee can do as well.
Duffee maybe talented but people need to remember he beat Tim Hague. I’ve heard a few people say Duffee’s name in the mix when saying Fedor needs to come to the UFC and fight Lesnar, Carwin, Cain, Mir, and Dos Santos and it’s like he maybe talented but it’s also Tim Hague.

Legitimately enlighten me
What does Hathaway bring to the table? I don’t know too much about him although I’ve seen his name before. On the face of it, this looks like just another comeback and tune-up fight for Diego. After his back to back losses to Koscheck and Fitch, they fed him David Bielkheden and a game but overmatched Juigi Fiorgivanti. Then moved down to lightweight and took on Joe Stevenson for a relatively dull boxing match. I would much rather seem consistently take on higher level competition than constantly taking on undermatched opponents. That being said, I am not a Diego fan, and that just add to the reason I’d like him to face tougher competition so I can watch him lose :)

Tito needs to corner Todd so he can dig Russow a grave after the fight.

Snaps!
When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail." - Jack Burton

I really don’t like the Brilz vs. Lil Nog matchup, but hey, who knows right.

Absolutely no top 25 opponents were available, but we get to see Nog take someone out in specatular fashion.

Jon Jones?
That might be a little early for Bones but The Janitor? I understand the need to let a young fighter progress but Lil Nog and Bones would have been sweet – like cherry flavored KY.

Why does Jon Jones need to fight everyone? Every time someone needs an opponent its always Jon Jones. I like the guy too and I think he is a future champion but good lord.

Think about it. There wasn’t much of a time lapse between Forrest dropping out and Jones inking the fight with The Janitor. But now we get to see 2 fights that we don’t really want to see.
With that said, I know what you mean. I just think everyone is ready to see Jones tested.

Jones needs to fight everyone because very few fighters can handle his blaxplosiveness.

what do you guys thinkg about rampage's ring rust?
a year ago I would have felt good picking him but after all this retiring nonsense i feel like he took a long break without training and isn’t that motivated to fight anymore. Evans is still hungry to get back into the mix.
I don't know why, but I would rather see Guillard/Tavares than Efrain/Lauzon.

THIS SHOULD BE ALL FREE ON SPIKE
The only fight worth my 44.95 is the main event all the other match ups dont arent even ppv worthy
Did you buy UFC 108?
None of those fights are really PPV worthy (except Silva/Evans, which isn’t a headliner) but it was a fun card.

Who knew Forrest was glue that held this card together. UFC 114 got kinda weak, kinda fast. A lot of good fighters on this show, but the matchups are meh…
Lemonade was a popular drink, and it still is. I get more stunts and props than Bruce Willis- Guru
Tell me about it, I bought my tickets a week before the bad news.
The fucked up thing is that Forrest said he wasn’t training hard enough in his MMA Live interview. He was just coming off as a guy who didn’t want to be a fucking fighter.
The main event itself is a big seller
But the rest of the card is really underwhelming. Watching Bisping get killed would be wonderful as a co-main event, but why did they go with a guy on a losing streak?
by Albertrayon on May 9, 2010 6:43 PM EDT reply actions 1 recs
Because Bisping needs a win.

Losing Forrest really hurt this card.....
I wanted to see what Lil Nog can do these days. I expect him to murder Briliz.
wow
lame ass card:(
im looking more forward to the diabate and cane fight than the bisping/miller one.
and it should be sweet seeing a super easy ko from bebe NOG:D

They should put Duffee on the poster.
I think they could pull it off calling him co-main event to get some promotional support behind such a big up and comer.
Carwin really suffered from not getting enough exposure till now. I know the UFC is starved for HWs but when they are on the card they need to be near the top.
Even then he aged at half the rate of his brother.

I eagerly anticipate the day that Bisping slides into irrelevancy
and isn’t on my main cards anymore. He needs to go the way of the Mac Danzig
Inhale deep, like the words of my breath—I never sleep, cause sleep is the cousin of death
FINALLY!! The first great way to waste $44.95 this year!!! YAWWWWNN what a horrible co-main event, two sub-par MWs fighting for…credibility?? Even Griffin/Nog couldn’t save this, Nog would have mopped the floor with Forrest’s ears
Hey UFC 108 was an awesome card.
Yeah, the Evans vs Silva fight was shit, but it was the ONLY fight on the whole damn card that went to decision.
Aside being curious to see Duffee, nothing in this card excites me. Both headliners are noticeably worse than at least 3 other fighters in their division and we’ve seen them fight a lot already. Lil Nog would be great to watch against Forrest, but not Brilz, Bisping, we know, is a very good fighter but probably won’t ever make it to a title shot, and if he did we all know what would happen if he did. So yeah, nothing interesting here. Moving on.
Color me crazy
But I think Miller taps Bisping.Bisping ran headlong into a couple guillotines against Wanderlei-if he does that against Miller,he’ll get tapped.Hell,he nearly got tapped by Wanderlei.
Plus,Bisping is mostly a ground and pound guy at heart-that’s how he puts most guys away.Miller is a pretty strong wrestler, and I just don’t see Bisping putting him on his back.Bisping could certainly beat him in a kickboxing match, but I don’t see Miller being silly enough to abilge him in that.

Well, BIsping was trying to take Wandy to the ground to avoid the KO, and forced it a few times. I have a feeling he won’t be shooting for the takedown, especially after seeing Maia outstrike Miller. However, I noticed MIller’s black belt in BJJ, but i know nothing about his wrestling or takedown ability
Can’t wait to see if Shad’s been practicing his stanky leg.
