I like the fact that ESPN is showing the UFC love. However, they need to come up with a way to not spoil what’s going on during the undercard. Pretty simple fix really.

I thoght it was a good start for ESPN.
Kenny and Rashad need more practice though.
They both seemed to stare down who ever was talking.

Did Kenny really say....

That ShoGun is now among the top P4P fighters in the world? I’ll be the 1st to say he’s a great fighter and was amazing in Pride but I think Kenny jumped the gun on that one. Would any of you put him up there with Anderson, GSP, or Fedor?

Yea, I think just like they did with the whole “Machida Era” crap. Everyone needs to wait a few title defenses before we start calling Rua anything other than a great fighter and the LHW champ.

id say top 5

u got gsp anderson and fedor in a 3 way tie at the top
then aldo at 4
and who else? penn just lost, and shoguns certainly above franky edgar, dominick cruz, jake shields or jon fitch in my opinion

Shogun as the potential to be in the P4P top 5, however...

he needs to now put together the wins to be there. Win 3 or 4 solid title defenses and I could see justifying him in the top 5.

by Razreshat on May 10, 2010 2:49 AM EDT up reply actions

whos ur top 5 then?

i cant name anyone who deserves to be ahead of him hes at the top of the banner division in mma and took the belt away from the champ dominatingly

In no particular order...

Anderson
GSP
Fedor
Aldo
Penn

I’d probably put Rua a tenative 6th and Edgar in the top ten give his controversial win over Penn. If they rematch and Edgar wins again, then Penn obviously drops and Edgar has probably earned a place over Rua. However, I personally think its fair to keep Penn in place considering both his history as well as the lack of consensus about his loss to Edgar.

What is wrong with the audio?

Soundy tinny and horrible, my ears are bleeding.

someone tell John to chill the f out – he’s way amped up in a way that doesn’t translate well over the air.

Kenny has the skills to moderate and offer commentary, but Rashad does not.

Being overrated is overrated.

Mitrione's interview was VERY impressive.

You can really tell he has been a professional athlete for a long time prior to MMA. He seems well schooled in being trained and having coaching.
