I believe retirement voids any contract… And I just checked his twitter account. He sent a one word tweet that said… “RETIRED”. It is still there so you can verify it yourself.

He was probably training, got tired, took a break, trained again and got re-tired.

…and then he got fucking philosophical about it. You know, he’s tired so often that he starts to contemplate it.

I think that was just a spur of the moment thing, think he was a bit depressed that day. maybe went on the internet and found out what the fans think of him.

Is this at 170 or 185?

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail." - Jack Burton

Interesting that he’s moving back up.He hasn’t fought at 185 since the Kala Hose fight I believe.

Yep

A nearly unanimous sentiment.

I actually train every few weeks at the same gym as Salter but

I’ve never seen him act that way. From what I know he was just happy because he was worried about geting cut and was happy that his job was safe for now.

Super justification! I got a big promotion at work a few weeks ago because the person in the position died, I was so happy I couldn’t help but jump up and down at the funeral, and now some people are calling me a douche! Jeez….

For the first time in at least 5 years, War Baroni!!!

Actually hoping Baroni takes this one.

Welcome back Phil. Beat this kid’s ass for “The Athlete”.

I thought Salter’s best performance was when he assisted Lando Calrisian in blowing up the death star.

Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.

I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Good point there, after all he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. Wouldn't change the fact I have to bum rides off of people.
