Shane Del Rosario (9-0) vs. Ron Sparks (5-0) set for Strikeforce: Los Angeles:
"I got another opponent now. I think his name is Ron Sparks. [He's] not as well-known, but still another important fight for me, so I will train hard and get ready to go June 16."
Will this fight be on the televised portion of the card?
"I'm hoping so, man. I've been waiting to fight since November. I would have rather fought on the Challengers Series had I known this guy [Bobby Lashley] was going to pull out. I hope I don't have to wait this whole time and be on the undercard with no TV time."

Does this mean that finally Lashley will be on the untelevised part of the card? Its about time if thats the case though Strikeforce have possibly dug themselves into a hole by having him right in the centre of the poster

I think Sparks was 2-0 about 2 weeks ago. Buddy keeps busy.

Fighting 0 – 0 guys, now they’re all 0 – 1, except some guy he fought who is 29 – 41, lol. Shane is going to destroy this fool.
That’s how Shane Carwin started out too, have to see how this guy turns out against someone who can fight back.

Exactly… The only guy with any amounts of fight is Johnathan Ivey and like you said he’s 29~41 and they went to a 4rd decision.. Del Rosario should win this bout, ya never know in MMA tho

I’m pretty sure it was Ron Sparks who took a big KO head kick from Alexey Ignashov at a K-1 event last year, but thats all I’ve seen of him.

Good find Warrior. He certainly has no business in K1. Look at where his hands are. No surprise he ate that leg kick.
There isn’t enough of the MMA footage to really make any kind of a decision there. He seems to have size. I wonder if he has gotten any good training yet.
Looks like he may be the same size as Sapp, but much more explosive and athletic. It also would appear that he carries all that weight much more natural than someone like Lashley. His hands were way low, but I bet you if that was an MMA fight, Ignashov would have been grist for the mill.
Intriguing, though he may be too old at 35.
Yoplait....Fruit on the bottom, hope on top.
Unfortunate description of the youtube video as “Great Kock out”
Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.
I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Good point there, after all he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. Wouldn't change the fact I have to bum rides off of people.
So, when Del Rosario eventually fights and defeats Lashley
Does he appear next to Dana White while Dana cackles and mouths “He’s mine” on TV?
Amusing thought
Will Bobby Lashley finally decide that SDR is known enough to risk himself against if SDR wins? :P
